McDonald's — Restaurant in Edson

This was probably the worst experience at a McDonald's I've ever had in my entire life. I am 41 years old and overweight so that speaks volumes. I went through the drive-through with my husband and he ordered a plain cheeseburger with added bacon. I ordered a cheeseburger no ketchup. When we open the bag mine had no ketchup, but it also had no mustard or onions. I walked into the restaurant to ask them to make me a new one. The guy said they will do it right away. When I got the next cheeseburger it also had no onions but it had a little tiny dots of mustard. I said is there anyway that I can get this with some onions I want it regular just without catch up! He said oh OK will try to get you some more onions... He came back with us six McNugget container full of onions. Basically spat in my face. Like, it's not my fault you can't make a burger correctly but when someone ask for something so simple you should be able to fix that right away. So anyway I just ended up grabbing a few of the onions from the container putting them into my burger and leaving it on the counter as I walked away. This is seriously embarrassing for the workers since it was such a small change and a huge rude ordeal became of it!!! Do not recommend...

You might as well traverse the barren Saharan desert than come here for drive thru as you will be starving at both places! We came at 10:40 PM for the drive thru and the staff was sitting around and shooting the breeze while several hungry customers were waiting to order food! Then the guy who was being ipad kid told us to wait 11 min, but we ended up waiting 22 min! We were all so tired and hungry and not to mention we had to drive through a wildfire in Jasper to get here. Why does the sign say drive thru open 24 hours when the staff can just close up shop and hang out. The lady that served us seemed like it was a nuisance that we were ordering and disturbing their break! God forbid the staff do their job! The other lady commented on how warm the outside was and how she wanted to get out. Girl believe me we know we’ve been waiting out there for eternity. Take your services to Wendy’s and order...

I'm not usually one for negative reviews but tonight I've hit the last chance with this place. As a drive thru/fast food establishment you would think this McDonald's would make itself available 24/7(as it is advertised) to its customers, but no. Every single time I order something AT LEAST one thing is wrong with the order, whether it be the wrong item placed in the bag, to completely missing an item altogether. I also always seem to run into the rudest young staff on the windows (please note, there are some friendly staff I just seem to draw the short stick more often than not). But what I find most irritating is that I have never been turned away so many times at random hours of the night, anywhere between 11pm-3am for a "system reset". Which they choose to do while they have customers in the drive thru! Either fix your system or don't do a reset when you have multiple...
