Was in town and needed a place for dinner so we stopped in here based on other reviews/ratings. Service was ok. Food was pretty good with a couple minor issues. For some reason their indoor dining wasn't open which was a disappointment so we had to sit on the patio. Patio is very nice and well lit, however it was a cold and damp night so would have preferred indoor dining, even though they had patio heaters (the closest one was a bit far from our table). We ordered the Antojitos for an appetizer and they were amazing! Would definitely order those again. For meals we had Bangers & Mash and Chicken & Waffles. Presentation was great on both plates! Food was generally quite good with a few minor complaints. Sausages were a bit dry (overcooked?), didn't have much flavour, and seemed to be regular sausages rather than true bangers. The mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were delicious! As for Chicken & Waffles, it was delicious and super flavourful and exactly what was expected. There was one small piece of one of the chicken tenders that was a bit tough (perhaps overcooked as well). Overall, we would probably return here to try out some of their other menu items, though we will wait until indoor dining opens up or nicer patio weather arrives next year.

The patio is fantastic. Food was above average. Really enjoyed our meal here. I don't usually order pasta at a restaurant, but I'm glad I gave the Jerk chicken mac'n cheese 'special' a shot. The original mac'n cheese dish already comes with a lovely beer sauce that is subtly flavoured and the Jerk chicken was the perfect thing to round it out. Even the garlic bread was fresh and yummy. A friend of mine orders the Philly cheesesteak sandwich every time she goes here and i can see why - great looking sandwich. The power bowl is extra special because it's a bit different than other places and doesn't rely on the optional avocado add-on to hit home; it's already a filling dish. The sweet and spicy is a unique combination. They have tons of seafood options from salmon specials to a tuna shareable. The tuna was wayyyy better than you'd usually get at chain - truly fresh and seared right. The excellent meals were accompanied by friendly & patient service. Plenty of check-ins even though we stayed at the table a bit long. They were flexible and just rolled with everything. Great spot to stop for a bite if you're in town!

Looking at previous negative reviews, I'm making it detailed to head off any snarky responses the owner will make.

We reserved for a show Saturday night. We were a large group of 16, however the organizer made a reservation 1 month early, and asked for the dinning room.

When most our group arrived on time at 6pm, we were then informed they had moved us to the show area to accommodate the size..... still we had to sit at separate tables (important for later).

It was nearly 20 minutes before our first drink olders were taken... when they did arrive, the organizer had to catch the waitress again to take the orders from the final 4 people that arrived 5 min late. At 640, we then had to hunt for the waitress to order our food, which was done by 645

At 740, even the 4 of 16 that had ordered appetizers, hadn't received anything. The waitress said food was almost ready. At 8pm, still no food, so we found the manager....

The manager was not apologetic, instead offered several times to show us our food chits were put in at 7:01... however our food orders were completed at 645, despite arriving at 6...

At 810 the apps came out, however my parter and mine was ice cold, and even then, some apps were missing.

At 830, I finally received my meal... no apology, nothing. At this point the show was going. Still had not even been offered water.

Later in the night I approached the manager saying how it wasn't a good experience. These are exact quotes:

"We accommodated your group by putting you in the performance area" - it was a month old reservation for the dining room

"Our kitchen is small and the front was busy" - yet again, a month old reservation we made FOR THE FRONT.

"The chits said 7:01pm" - not our problem, why did it take 40 min for our orders? And another 20 to put them in.

"It could easily take an hour to get the food out for a group your size" - I can agree with this... however it was over an hour after we ordered before we saw the 4 apps we ordered... not a valid excuse when we reserved a MONTH BEFORE FOR THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE.

"We put you in the concert area so you could sit together" - except we couldn't, we would have been fine at separate areas in the front. Our reservation was for the front... lame excuse.

At no point were we apologized to without an excuse. My wife and I were not offered any solution, or even a free drink/comp our app.

That being said, despite the tostasas cheese being colder than my fridge, the flavour was good, and my chicken and waffle was actually hot and had good flavour.

My one cocktail the white dragon Margarita was excellent.

The show and band were excellent.

That's the only reason for 2 stars.

It is very unfortunate our experience was marred not only by poor service, but what I cannot describe by anything else but a complete lack of empathy a d even blaming of the customer by...

Staff is nice. Food not great. Twice I've been disappointed with waitress suggesting a dish. First was curry, chef special. Very bland and nothing compared to some of the currys severed in Other Indian and Thai places. Locally. Acton, Erin. North Brampton.

Tonight was the chicken parm sandwich. Come on.... it doesn't take long to season and fry a cuttlet so why reheat one, Luke warm,Dry chicken. Veg was soggy and bitter and they said they put cheese on it but I showed the waitress and we both couldn't find it!!! 10 mins later I get some on the side with no chance to melt☹️ If you caramelize veg daily they stay sweet. Next day make a special with what is going to go soon. 3-4 days in fridge and they turn bitter and mush. My lady had the tostadas nice idea, but hold the balsamic !!! Wth are you thinking. Balsamic is so powerful, just kills this dish. No need for it. Try frying some julianed lime peel or charred tomatoe wedges for extra favour. Something a little more Spanish.

Wish they would stop trying to be so fast and quick, put a little effort into making each dish properly for each paying customer. People don't mind waiting longer if they are blown away with good food. But like all the other 5 star reviews. Staff is friendly lol and music is good... on Saturday night. The owner should send in mystery guess to get real feedback. Step up the kitchen or become a night...
