We stopped in here and had one of the most disappointing dining experiences. When we arrived, the waitress told us to seat ourselves, so we chose to sit outside. After waiting about 15 minutes with no menus, I had to get up and ask for them. Another 15 minutes later, I got up again to find the waitress and place our order myself. Her response was, “We’re very busy.”

For context, this is a small-town restaurant that wasn’t even that big to begin with. Apparently, they were “so busy” that staff had time to step outside and take pictures of themselves at the car show in the parking lot instead of serving customers.

We ordered simple appetizers—fried pickles, nachos, and fries for a little one. After 30 more minutes, still nothing. I asked if at least some fries could be brought out while waiting, but another half hour went by with still no food, only a small plate of cold soggy fries. The only explanation we got was, “We have half the town in here.” Excuses don’t make up for poor service—acknowledging your customers does.

After over an hour of waiting with nothing on the table, we told the waitress how disappointed we were and left. Unfortunately, this place failed on both service and accountability. Definitely...

First time experience and very much our "last shot" (pun intended). From the moment we walked in to the moment we finally got our food was nearly an hour and 25 minutes. This was bad enough... A panzerotti ordered with green olives, bacon and extra cheese had green olives, no bacon and no cheese. Lots of sauce though to fill it up. Next on the list was the burn nachos which we thought had no cheese but it was under the nachos burnt and stuck to the parchment paper. My daughter put relish on them just to get some flavor. The Reuben sandwich had less flavor than the parchment paper likely had with everything burnt to it. The potato soup.... we are pretty sure it was mashed potatoes with a bit of water and milk.... We try our best to support local... but this was both a waste of time and money. At least the pop and the server we good and the best part of horrendous experience. The young lady server did her best and was also clearly bothered and frustrated with how long things were taking too. She was extremely polite, courteous and prompt to check in on us. She gets 5 stars and to the server, you could do better in a better operated...

The food is great. We love their fish and chips. However, when I came to pick up my takeout today, I was disappointed to see a group of 3 men playing on an arcade machine and not wearing masks. The rules around restaurants for the safety of everyone are clear. If the patrons are not sitting at the table eating or drinking, masks must be worn. This made me feel less safe and questioning if I will return while the pandemic is on.It is important to keep the COVID safety practices in place, as the infections rise and the vaccines roll out...
