A truly terrible experience, partly due to our server and partly due to our food. We (3 women, late twenties) all ordered one drink and a meal, we intended to drink more but weren’t asked if we would like to. My friend and I both had the burger - hers was burnt, mine i had requested without mayo or cheese, it came out with mayo, after asking for it to be please be fixed, it thankfully was however it wasn’t replaced, they scraped the mayo off as there was still remnants of mayo i had to scrape off myself. If I was allergic, this would be of big concern, thankfully i’m not, and honestly this wasn’t the worst part at all. what sucked most was that Halfway into our meal we were asked if we wanted to order dessert - my other friend who had the club hadn’t even taken a bite of her sandwich yet. After I finished my burger, our server immediately came over and asked if my friend (who still had half her club sandwich) if she would like a to-go container. she paused, confused, and then she asked how we would line our bills - together or separate. all of us were confused and would have stayed for another drink and actually probably desert at the actual end of our meal, but our server really seemed as though she really did not want us to be there! Our server made it super uncomfortable, she scowled throughout the night and was generally not very polite at all. very awkward and terrible experience. sadly am very unlikely to be back, and i’m not super fussy at all, and also a server in the city myself and have been for years so i’m pretty understanding but this...

Experienced some truly miserable service today. Took the family here to celebrate our 10th anniversary after having had a lovely first time a few weeks back. The wait staff tonight was the worst we've encountered in years, especially considering members of our party are professionals in the industry and they noted issues immediately.

-Food was removed from our table before being finished and without asking.

-We were rushed to make drink choices after only just being seated on a slow night with their massive beer list. We were asked once if we wanted another drink while everyone still had almost full glasses and then never asked again.

-We were expected to pay 50% for a solid refrigerator-cold burger (single bite) after waiting an hour for our food.

I couldn't stomach the club sandwich which was so sweet it was nausiating (two bites) and had to pay for that too.

The entire evening was a mess and very unpleasant. We came intending to make it our new return spot but unfortunately it'll be our last. Here's hoping it...

Went for an early dinner on a Saturday. Had the Chicken Tikka Masala. It was delicious! The generous amount of Naan that came with it to sop up the tasty sauce was soft and had some toasty char marks. Chicken was very tender. Yum! There wasn't anything left for a takeout container. The margaritas are so good, made with real squeezed lime juice and flaked salt on the rim. Perfect. I had to have dessert to go and ordered the Banoffee Pie. Made with banana slices, caramel dulce de leche, chocolate ganache, the crust is crisp and flaky. Perfect for my later evening dessert attack. I've eaten here before and the food and service is always fantastic. I've had the Club sandwich and fish and chips. Both are great! Chris was my server. Very attentive, courteous and personable. Highly recommend The Joyce Pub. Left just before 6pm and it was starting to get busy. It's very popular. $60 to 70 ish with 1 margarita and a 6oz glass of rose. A...

Tonight I had just a snack here, but in the past, I have eaten here several times. A great place not just for pub grub, but to really try and test all the best craft beers Fredericton has to offer. Always very nice staff. Tonight I had the Yip Cider which was clean and crisp and the breaded buttermilk chicken wings. The honey garlic sauce was authentically Asian and delicious, meaning, it was more like a sauce you would get with sushi instead of a thick North American sauce you get at Sobeys. The blue cheese dressing was even better when coating the wings. A great place for friends or colleagues.

I’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu at The Joyce, and it’s hands down one of my favorite spots in town. I keep coming back! The umami fries are an absolute game-changer, and the steak sandwich is always my go-to (seriously, so good). Their beer selection is top-notch, and you can pair any dish with a great brew. I’m also a big fan of their ciders, and the cider flight is perfect if you want to try a few. Shout out to the server Cris for the great recommendations! Oh, and the banoffee pie? Don’t leave without it! Is just an awesome place to chill and enjoy.
