I called almost a week in advance for a 4 person reservation for tonight. When we got there, we were seated at a 2 person table with 4 menus and 3 chairs. We grabbed a chair for the 4th but the table was so small that 2 of us were sitting between the table we were sat at and the next table over which also had a "reserved" sign on it (we are average size individuals). We asked if there would be people at the table beside us and were told yes. We didn't feel like bumping elbows with strangers so asked if we could wait for a slightly larger table to come available and was told no. The waitress asked if I had asked for a "roomier" table when I made the reservation. I told her I hadn't been there before so did not realize that they considered such small tables to be 4 person tables. She said they consider all of the tables to be 4 person tables. We went to Snooty Fox instead and had a delightful meal with great service. Our table spent about $350 and tipped 20% so it's their loss but was still a disappointing experience. Maybe I'll try again if I go for supper with just 1 other person. I wish I had taken a photo to show just how cramped...

I have been going to this restaurant for years with no issues but today's service was the worse I've ever had. It was almost 2 PM. The girl server said I could still order from the breakfast menu. I ordered fish cake with eggs and a side of home fries. She brought the food without potatoes. I asked if I was geting them, and she said she totally forgot about them. She asked if I wanted them deep fried or on pan fried with onions. 15 minutes later, i asked her if my potatoes were coming, she then said that it is passed the breakfast time and they can no longer make them. All this time I was waiting to eat and the rest of my food was getring cold. When my huby and my daughter finished eating, the same disrespectful girl came to ask if I wanted deep fried potatoes to take home. I was not happy at all and I felt she was doing everything on purpose. I hope management can trace who was serving on the terrace between 2:00-3:00 PM on Saturday October 19, and teach her how to treat all customers, or she will ruin that...

We have been travelling through Nova Scotia and New Brunswick and this was our first poor experience. Ordered a beer from the menu, my bad as I typically ask for a sample, and the beer was from a brewery I had not been to in Fredericton (Half cut brewery) and it was so bad I could not finish it so I ordered another beer. Server did not ask or inquire why I ordered another beer without remotely finishing the first one. I ordered the fish and chips and while the fish and chips were good the plate came with a Kraft Tartar sauce. I am in Fredericton, tartar sauce should be hand made as every other restaurant/pub has been. My wife ordered the special, the chicken Brie wrap as it was a special and the server did not mention that it was loaded with caramelized onions so she ended up breaking the wrap apart to remove the onions and notice little to no Brie. Not a great experience overall and they had a 4.4 overall rating which was surprising. Definitely sample the beer and inquire further on the ingredients...

We've visited this bar many times since it's my partner's favorite spot. Recently, we decided to try their lunch menu for the first time, unaware that brunch is only available on weekends. Nevertheless, I was delighted with my choice of fish cakes – they were incredibly filling and delicious! The crispy surface and tender filling made them a delightful treat. The fries were equally impressive, perfectly crispy just how I like them. To my partner's surprise, he tried whiskey instead of his usual beer and was blown away by the extensive selection of hundreds of whiskeys this bar offers. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this bar, especially for whiskey enthusiasts!

Good food and service, but on the expensive side. Staff was friendly, and food came out relatively quick, though we went on a day they are usually less busy. The chairs became a bit uncomfortable after sitting down for a while. The prices for some items are suspiciously absent from the menu, such as the imported beers, and dessert menu. Though they will still tell you the prices if you ask about it. Do not order the peanut butter cheese cake. The waiting staff openly admitted it was a bit of a ripoff, and isn't even made on-site. The toffee pudding was delicious though. Overall not a bad spot to eat, especially if you've got some disposable income. Weekdays are the best time to go, as they are less busy. Cheers!

Very nice pub vibes and the staff is kind and charming. We had some tasty appetizers (crunchy wings and onion rings) and shared the Reuben sandwich, which was good but disappointingly tiny (it seemed like we got the very tip of the rye bread loaf - the smallest rye slices). We also got their famous carrot cake, which was dense and didn't taste much of anything (including the frosting), but their sticky toffee pudding was absolutely divine! Overall, we had a great time. I recommend sticking with their appetizers, price and portion size wize, they are the winners on their menu.
