Rôtisserie St-Hubert — Restaurant in Gaspé

Went with my wife. I had a burger, which was delicious. Wife had cod which was alright. The 2 stars are for the service. While people are friendly and while I understand mistakes can be made, there is a professional way to address this. People who were seated 20 minutes after we did our order were not only served before us, but finished eating by the time we received our food. Kitchen. Basically forgot to make our food and our weitress didn't do much of a follow up. When we brought it up after being avoided, then the kitchen started. The weitress was telling us it's not her fault, but that's not the right answer. It's teamwork. The proper this g to do is to apologize for the team, and offer a costless side like extra fries, or rings, or a rebate... Don't tell me it's not your fault... Specially if I am being polite, just apologize on behalf of the team and see with the manager if you can...

Great food at a great price. No wait time, service was quick, wine pour was generous (hey it's not fancy but I great value). I actually enjoy this more than the other near by restaurant. We had the seafood poutine, which tasted great, was big and had a lot of shimps, scallops and some lobster! The seafood spaghetti was also similarity loaded and large portion The maple salmon and pan fried cod were very nice and reasonably portioned. I was considering a 4 star rating but since the prices were very reasonable (and the wine pour generous!) I'll bump it up to 5!
