Avoid this place at all costs! We ordered takeout and were completely shocked when we opened the containers. The portion sizes were so small, it was unbelievable. The number 48, the Hunan beef, had less than 1/4 of actual beef. The entire bowl was filled with a terrible chewy (I guess it should have been crispy) noodle. The little bit if beef that was in there was practically inedible it was so salty and tasted scarily like bad oysters. The Szechwan chicken with spinach was the same issue, a bowl of fried spinach with a 1/4 cup of chicken. We didnât even have enough for two people. I called the restaurant, as I just couldnât believe this was possible.. I explained to the man on the phone that this couldnât be right as a portion and he said he would ask the chef. I could hear cursing and yelling in the background. As the man returned to the phone, he said the chef says it is the portion, meat is expensive so end of story. I told him this is really unacceptable and Iâve called to give you an opportunity to make it right somehow or Iâll have to leave a review.. we want to support local, but this is not ok. He couldnât have cared less, said Ok!, and hung up. Donât waste your money here I truly believe they are running a scam and itâs too late once you get home with this âfoodâ! Il y avait encore de la nourriture sur notre table mais pas beaucoup mais ce n'est pas ça le problĂšme. Quand j'ai demandĂ© pour avoir mes 2 crevettes, la serveuse m'a dit que je devais manger tout ce qu'il restait sur la table et elle verra aprĂšs pour les crevettes et commander autres choses. J'ai Ă©tĂ© insultĂ© et je sentais comme si je me faisais traiter comme un enfant de 5 ans. Cette dame, je crois qu'elle est la propriĂ©taire ou une autoritĂ© dans le restaurant. Elle est trĂšs bĂȘte et ce n'Ă©tait pas la premiĂšre fois qu'on se faisait traiter de cette façon mais cette fois-ci, c'Ă©tait la derniĂšre. Je n'ai jamais Ă©tĂ© aussi humiliĂ© comme ça dans un restaurant de ma vie. La serveuse n'est jamais revenu nous voir et elle faisait par exprĂšs pour s'Ă©loigner de nous et nous Ă©tions les seuls client dans le restaurant. Le restaurant fermait Ă 22h00 et ils ont dĂ©cidĂ© de fermer Ă 21h40, trĂšs dĂ©cevant. La nourriture est bonne mais la Maison du Sechwan Ă Gatineau est encore mieux. Je ne retournerai jamais Ă ce restaurant. On n'a mĂȘme pas laissĂ© de pourboire, qui est trĂšs rare. J'ai 4 autres amis qui ont une expĂ©rience similaire et eux autres aussi, ils n'y retourneront plus.
Me and my girlfriend we go to this restaurant frequently and usually the food is pretty good but the service not so much. They make you feel uncomfortable and they also make you feel like they want you to leave fast. Here's where the major problem and why I will never go back to this restaurant: We have made our completr order from the beginning and close to the end of our meal, I noticed that there we're 2 items missing from our order. There we're also the fact that the waitress did not listen to your instructions for our order (for example: half a plate of rice which was well written on pour order) I mentionned that I missing 2 items to the waitress (Lady about 40-50 years old, asian), it was 2 kinds of shrimps that we never received. There was still food remaining on our table but very little but that wasn't the problem. When I asked to have my 2 orders of shrimps, the waitress told me that I should everything on my plate and on the table and only then she'll see about my shrimps and ordering something else. I was insulted and I felt like I was being treated like a 5 year old child. This lady, I think she is the owner or an authority figure in the restaurant. She was very rude and this wasn't the first time that we we're treated this way but this time, it will be the last. I have never been so humiliated so much like that in a restaurant my entire life. The waitress never came back to see us and and she was keeping her distance on purpose and we we're the only customers in the restaurant. The restaurant closes at 22h00 and it was 21h40, very disappointing. The food is good but La Maison du Sechwan in Gatineau is way better. I will never go back to this restaurant. We didn't even leave a tip, which is very rare. I have 4 other friends that had a similar experiences and they as well, will not...

The food here tastes pretty good but unfortunately the quantities are just not worth it. The lemon chicken and General Tao chicken came in an okay size but what shocked us the most was the fried salt and spicy squid. It tasted good but we paid $15 for 13 little pieces of squid meaning we paid $1.15 per small piece. Iâve never been surprised seeing Chinese food and I thought this had to be a mistake. We have no problem paying for good food but Iâll never be able to justify paying that much for Chinese food where I can actually count the small pieces.
