Jimmie’s Restaurant — Restaurant in Gatineau

Jimmy's is a nice looking restaurant, i went there with my daughter and a friend, the manager (I assume) was hovering over his waitress in training and correcting her as she was trying to serve us, he seems pationate about his restaurant, but needs to learn how to manage, (do not correct and employee in front of patronage). We were offered 2 specials, mushroom ravioli or 2 meatball spaghetti. My daughter had the pizza was OK, while I was away, they offered my daughter a dipping sauce, she said sure I'll have the garlic, they failed to mention it was $3 for a tiny cup of it, my friend and I had the mushroom ravioli with bechamel sauce, we received what I assume is frozen mushroom ravioli's with bechamel sauce, it tasted almost exactly like Campbell's cream of mushroom soup on pasta, and looked like a beige bowl of bleh. I would have been fine with it if the portions weren't so small for the price ( 8 to 10 ravioli ), it kinda felt like they tried to pull the the wool over my eyes thinking the "decor" would fool me into thinking I received a high quality meal. In the end, if I had advice for the management, dont be so obvious your staff is in training, either make fresh pasta, or increase the portion sizes, lower the price of your beer, and try to make the food more presentable, a little color...

Worst custumer service experience ever...... Tonight I ordered the same thing as usual (combo #3... x3) and instead of the normal cheese sticks we got zuchinni sticks. When I called back to mention this, i had the RUDEST service I have ever had. They had ran out of cheese sticks so replaced them, understandably.... However when i said that they should have let us know of this change for allergy reasons... I was told "ya well we are busy right now, didn't have time to call you back". And then hung up the phone without even giving me a chance to say one more word. I called back, they said one second, put the phone down and never came back and left it off the hook so I couldn't call again.

I was very surprised because usually i always order from here and always have...
