Sushi Hull — Restaurant in Gatineau

Just meh. I’ve had poke bowls at 4 different places. This one was nothing special. The seafood was not marinated but they did put a little bit of some type of mayo sauce on it. I wouldn’t order it again but it wasn’t bad or anything, just basic and a bit boring. Also ordered a dynamite roll. It tasted like the ones you get at the grocery store. The amount of wasabi that came with it was about 1/8 of a teaspoon. I had to search for it lol. Again just overall it was bland. Ordered a Diet Pepsi as I have to watch my sugars but got a regular Pepsi. Not a big deal though. Perhaps their other items are better so I am not writing...

worst sushi plate ever...on 32 sushi (2) small piece of raw fish on the nigiri . .all the rest was goberge and smoked salmon .seriously what is the point of ordering sushi if they just gonna throw only the shippest stuff ...I have all that in my freezer would have taste the same without doing nothing whit it..and how can you call that a nigiri , some kind of deep fried homelette rapping rice it look like a pizza pocket...I know it's hard for restaurants right now but this is laughing at people...sorry...

I simply love this place. We have been going here for many years. The sushi are fresh, the owners are very nice and most of all, the price is right. I love the rest rice and fish taste, I know that they only make sushi by order and not in advance, which I really appreciate because cold sushi really disturbes me. And i really appreciate the changes that the owners made to make the place more comfy. Will certainly continue...
