Read moreI order often from Tim’s for breakfast as it is delicious and convenient. Nonetheless, I have had many issues with different Tim’s that substitute items without customer approval when doing online orders through ubereats. While I have reported these instances to uber every time it happens as restaurants should just substitute items with whatever they choose, today I opened my order to see that a chocolate croissant has been substituted with a muffin with a multitude of nuts in them. I find this to be a truly insane thing to do. My family and I have a deathly nut allergy. My sister, who thankfully wasn’t home at the time, has a severe allergic reaction to nuts just from being around them. I am still in shock from this whole ordeal. I hope they learn from this. This location, being a former Starbucks, has a different setup than other Tim Hortons. The big machines they use behind the counter makes the ordering area clostrophobic and if you are and someone is waiting for their drinks at the end of the counter on the right by the employee's back of the house door, you may feel trapped in the ordering area.
