Wendy's — Restaurant in Goderich

I hadn't gone to Wendy's in awhile, but thought I'd grab a bite to eat there. I try to eat healthy, and figured their grilled chicken would fit the bill. And a black coffee. The french fries - ok, yes, hello trans fats.

Anyway, I ordered two grilled chickens for the two of us, and while waiting was informed they were out of ready grilled chickens and only had a single grilled chicken left. Otherwise I'd have to wait fifteen minutes. Not sure whether that was the thawing time, or whether a truck was due in fifteen, or that was the time needed to round up and pluck the free range chickens out back. (Probably not the latter I admit).

I volunteered to take the "classic" deep fat fried substitute for one of the sandwiches, and get the last grilled chicken for the other. Turned out not to matter, as both were breaded and tossed into the fryer. A trifle disappointing.

Still, the girl at the front was friendly and pleasant. Restaurant was clean. They had some picnic tables outside that one...

Wendy's a fast food outlet opened in Goderich Ontario in late Spring of 2018.If you want fresh,join locals there.Both burgers & fries are NOT FROZEN!Like so many other outlets that are.The burgers,especially Dave's own are well worth enjoying.The fries are not overly greasy or too salty like some other fast food outlets.Let me also recommend The Cheesy Chili Nachos & Bake Potato too.Clean place,fresh,hot tasty food & relatively fast service.P.S:Keep your receipt for a serve on line, & get a free Dave's Single with cheese for your trouble.Don't forget to write the code number they give you on your receipt.Across from The Candlelight on the 21 HWY in...

Probably one of the dirtiest kitchens I've ever seen. I went in to place an order as drive thru was busy. What I saw behind the counter was disgusting. When I asked the lady that took my order if she was the manager and she said yes I told her she should really consider washing the counters and cleaning behind the counter and she laughed and like it was cute .. I said its not funny. Your restaurant is grossly dirty. She really didn't understand. Even where the food was being prepped was disgusting and questionable.
