Me and my wedding party stayed here the night of our wedding in July. Dealing with them leading up to the reservation was okay nothing outstanding really, real issue came the weekend of the wedding. I spoke to Melody on the Friday and said we would be checking in late Saturday night, she advised she would leave our key in the mailbox. Upon arrival there was two keys labelled with my name. I took the one labelled king and left the other one thinking maybe it was for a different person under my group. Upon checking out, was told that room was also billed to me as they had it documented I had reserved two from the beginning for myself. I explained I had not, and only ever received one confirmation both when booked and 3 days before for my King room. I was told I had to speak to the manager, Janti, she left him my name and phone number. While on my honeymoon I received an unfriendly email from Melody explaining how this was not their fault, and was mine, and she would be telling the manager everything that transpired from her perspective. Manager never called me, I started calling him, and the first time I was able to reach him he said he could not give me an answer as he was not with the file. Which I could not understand as being a manager not sure how hard it is to decide. After a month of phone tag, I was able to get him again and he as well told me there was nothing they could do as on there end I had reserved the room. I asked why I never received a email confirmation then for this additional room they could not come up with an answer. I asked who booked on their end the room, also could not get an answer. Finally, Janti deemed I could have 50% of my money back. I certainly would not recommend this place, not just because they seem to be trying to rip people off, but they also have very low customer service skills. It was clear they were hoping I would just forget and move on, or be bullied into submission. On top of all that my one wedding guest's room had a used wash cloth in the tub, a bug in the fridge and air conditioner which was not working properly. Another groomsmen splurged for the jacuzzi room, and the jetted tub. wasnt working. And they have no one at the desk afterhours to deal with...
Read moreStayed for 3 nights. Unfortunately we didn't get the time to enjoy the amenities as much as we wanted as we were in town for a wedding with a full itinerary. However! The room was very clean, the shower pressure and temperature was great. The bed was also very comfortable. The couple times I had spoken to front desk and a house keeper they were very nice, informative and accommodating. I do have a couple suggestions however they are strictly suggestions and did not affect our ability to enjoy our stay. Due to our own absent mindedness we had forgotten ask about the location of an ice machine, we also had forgotten to ask for cutlery packs from any of the restaurants we ate at, which made eating our leftovers an entertaining challenge. We also had great difficulty working the Television. Fortunately we had my work laptop to stream movies on. So my suggestions to resolve these issues for future guests are...
we came for a wedding and booked this hotel because the rest of our family was staying here. Our room was very, very, very, small, only 1 chair, 1 nite table and the smallest bathroom ever, not even a tub. The room had a very bad musky smell and we had to open the windows to air it out. The cable did not work, just overall not impressed but because our family was staying I sucked it up. the next morning I went to my sister and brother-in-law's room to get them for breakfast and boy oh boy was I surprised to see the size of their room! then I went to see my nieces room even nicer! they were both bigger rooms, smelling nice and had cable with bathtubs!! I went to the rental office and the lady told me its because we requested our rooms to be together...but I did not make that request and even if I did my family was on the back of the hotel and we were on the front so how were we together??? I asked if they had regular sized rooms available and she said yes, when asked again they why were we put in the shoebox room and she said we should have told them earlier...how was I suppose to know that all the rooms were not like ours....no apologies, no discounts, nothing was offered to us. I think overall we had a great weekend but our accommodations were definitely lacking, we would not stay here again although we are going back to visit...
