Great little bar, lots of local beer on tap. I ordered the beet salad, which was absolutely fantastic. For my main course I had fried chicken on a Belgium waffle. The only problem I had with it was the plating, because they used such a large plate the portion looks really small, but teamed with an entrée it's more than enough and it was a five star dish. My suggestion is smaller plates. For dessert I had the pumpkin cheese cake. It was good and tasted both like cheese and pumpkin which is difficult but what it was served in made it difficult to tell it was cheese cake. My suggestion is to get fancy and serve it in a wine glass instead of a jar, it will go better with your bar atmosphere. As for menu items there's not alot there but for what they have is unique and taste amazing. It could use a couple more quick things in the entrée, main dishes and desserts. Something has changed here, and it's not for the better. This used to be a great spot with good service, but our last visit was a huge disappointment. We were seated right away, but then waited 10 minutes without a single greeting or glass of water from a waiter. We eventually had to ask the host to get us service. The food was even more frustrating. My wife ordered spaghetti Ruben, expecting a Montreal-style corned beef, but got some kind of smoked bird meat instead. My salmon dish barely had any salmon. The beer selection is solid, offering a fair variety of well-crafted options on tap. While the house brews were decent, we appreciated the inclusion of higher-caliber offerings from renowned Québec breweries like Bas Canada.
