The Valley Restaurant — Restaurant in Grand Falls-Windsor

It was the first time I've taken the time to sit somewhere- my fiancée and I came in and were seated right away. Other than this, I would say the rest of the experience was definitely not great. We had a waitress who seemed to avoid us after putting the food order in- perhaps because it took 40 minutes. We ordered the breakfast special- 3 bacon, 2 egg, 4 slives toast and homefries, which was barely enough to make up for that much time. We felt awkward having to look around to catch the attention of our waitress or someone to get more coffee. When the food came it was good- but it was not great to have a 25$ for 2 cups of coffee and 2 breakfast specials- just didn't feel right. I would just suggest having your staff (as there are over 9 or so working at a time) to not hid in the back so much, especially when customers can see them...

Was poor service. Can't rate the food because we could not get served. Was seated and after 20 minutes still no order taken or even a drink. While seated we watched 2 other lots of people come in after us get seated and orders taken. One waitress went table to table chatting and still no order taken. Then watching 2 waitresses clean one table going over 20 minutes we got frustrated and left. Heard food was good why I gave 3 star instead of one but...

Lovely local restaurant, I couldn't believe that their menu prices were so good, you pay almost twice as much for the same quality in a larger city. Had a bit of a hiccup in that we tried to order breakfast but weren't able to be served French toast or scrambled eggs, so we opted for an early lunch instead and enjoyed our meal immensely. 5 stars if all breakfast items are available when...
