A&W Canada — Restaurant in Grand Forks

By far the worst food I have ever recieved from A&W in forty yrs. I think we were in line for 10-15 minutes with 1 car in front. My husband ordered a chubby chicken w/fries & I ordered a papa burger w/cheese & fries. Lettuce was a slimy pile on top over a piece of breaded chicken that was so dry he couldn't swallow it. Mine had no cheese & bun was dry. I thought waiting so long it would be fresh but it was not. For 2 burgers & 2 med fries we were charged over $28. Terrible food & price. We were traveling so couldn't go back to complain. Do better A&W. You were the only fast food I could eat occasionally but I think I'll steer clear from now on. We would love...

One of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. Rolled in around 8 pm June 15/18. One person up front working. Completely ignored us for up to 4-5 minutes. Finally took our after husband spoke up and said something. Went and sat down with drinks. Young lady started leaning table. 8 people walk in (2 different parties), she continued to wipe down tables. Customers turning around trying to get her to acknowledge them. She finally says I’ll be right there and continue wiping tables off. (I will add the tables we’re clean) Finally she takes their order.

If I could give this experience zero stars, I would. We normally love A&W, but haven't been eating out as much lately. We were pulling into Grand Forks to begin our vacation, needed to eat, and decided to stop in at A&W. Service was not bad but our food & drinks were absolutely terrible!

We ordered 3 meals. In one meal, we were missing the hamburger patty. In another meal, we had a hair in our french fries, and all three root beers were flat and had no ice in them.

A&W isn't exactly inexpensive. Not only were we disappointed, but we felt ripped off and won't be going back...
