Been going here awhile this restaurant has really come along way since it first opened. The ramen is excellent. Great broth and the consistent quality has only a few times dropped. Usually when they are training new staff ect. The kitchen is very willing to make any changes you request to your food. Be it for allergy, religious or just person preferance.
I would like to put my recommendation for new customers and old ones. First if you havent had ramen or are unfamiliar with japanese/asian food tbats ok. They have items on there menu the feel closer to home. Fries, chicken and sometimes speacial such as tacos and salads. If you want to try ramen i suggest black garlic or chicken miso for your first bowl. If you are a spicy lover kara miso is good then when your ready the jikgoku is the step up. I have been eating this one awhile and im ready for a even spicier version. Dont be afraid to ask for extras. You can add fresh garlic to your ramen, cheese, many vegetables, chicken, pork, egg and every flavoured oil they got.
The service has always been good atmosphere is nice and relaxing. No tvs just a nice resturant to have lunch or go on a...
Read moreLet me start by saying that I have tried several ramen places in different major cities across the nation. I must say that the quality and authenticity of this place is well above average and explicitly depicted in every bowl. The quality of the broth is indicative that it is hand crafted everyday without making any compromise in the process for perfection. The broth so rich that it stimulates your palate with every spoonful whether it is chicken or pork based.
Their latest addition to their menu called “Kookbob” won’t be a disappointment for Korean food enthusiasts. It properly portrays and delivers what anyone would expect in a tradition Korean restaurant. It uses their pork based soup and is garnished with their succulent slices of meat. Last but not least, the soup is accompanied by radish kimchi.
If you are a die hard beer fan, they exclusively serve either Sapporo or Asahi on tap in town. Their beer pairs superbly well with their wings.
This place is a hidden gem that...
Read moreA beautiful, clean and modern decor restaurant. Great service from the waitress. for appetizer, I've had the octopus takoyaki, and there were amazing! Great texture, tebder octopus and overall very flavorful. For mains, I ordered the black garlic ramen. The broth was really delicious, ramen noodles were perfect with the right consistency. I tried swapping the pork char siu ( not a fan or char siu) with a different protein but they offered half of an egg instead, which was alright but not really equal per se. I've had lots of ramen before, but paying 18 bucks for this ramen was a bit pricy. Now, I don't mind paying 18 bucks for a bigger portion of ramen with some more protein or noodles itself. I'll try it again...
