On Aug 16th my wife and I took a trip to this restaurant to check it out for some future atv club dinners. It was a beautiful, warm, sunny Friday afternoon and our first clue should have been the completely empty patio but we still thought we would give it a try. There was a girl in the patio, who we later learned was their hostess, who we greeted with a friendly hello but she ignored us. We picked up our own menus and sat down. After peeling apart the menus that were stuck together we waited patiently for some service. The same hostess came to the patios area two more times but again completely ignored us. After waiting 15 minutes my wife went to use the washroom and mentioned to the bartender that we were outside waiting to be served. About 5 mins later the hostess arrived with 2 glasses of water, once again ignored our greeting and promptly walked away without saying a word to us and seemed totally zoned out. I’m the meantime another gentleman who had sat down in the patio got up and said “ I guess I need to go inside for a cold one”. At this point we decided to leave and expressed our disappointment to a woman who initially said she was the manager but then later said she would inform the manager. All in all it was a very bizarre experience and our group will not be taking our business to this restaurant. We never did get an opportunity to try their food so can’t comment on the quality although an empty patio might be a good indication. Save your hard earned money and eat elsewhere or pack a lunch if your...

I ordered a restaurant Signature item known as Redneck Signature Salad .. as described on the menu ...Redneck Signature Salad, "Grilled Salmon, avocado, goat cheese, apple, and candied walnuts on a bed of mixed greens with honey poppyseed dressing. Gluten free.” the folks accompanying me ordered the Chicken Club Wrap and the Steak Sandwich ... all three items were very good in taste and quality .... the issue arises with my salad and the portion size of the grilled salmon which was the sized of a fish stick no larger than my middle finger which is representative of my inner thoughts concerning the size of the grilled salmon .... in addition I checked with my server as the menu indicated the salad comes with Garlic Bread.... I assumed it to be 2 slices of toasted garlic bread and not 2 potato chip size pita bread which I received... the servings for the chicken wrap and steak sandwich were massive and the folks at the table did have a good giggle when I pointed to the size of the grilled salmon and the alleged pieces of garlic bread .... for folks ordering in the future I would ask the server is the grilled salmon the same size as the salmon offered in the Almond Crusted Salmon entree. As the rating review reflects service atmoshphere 5 and the 1 star food is a reflection of the skimpy portions for the restaurants so called SIGNAUTURE item...

Food and staff are meh. Last year was better. I met the head chef and paid my compliments on my amazing lamb burger I ordered. It was incredible. And he was so nice and the staff was nice. This time (a year later) I asked about the lamb and they don't have it. So I asked if they have the same head chef (I'd love to know some tricks to make my own spiced lamb burger) and she said "ummm... I don't know. Probably?.... “ then left. When she walked by again she said" the shrimp tacos Are good" okay thanks. So I asked "can I get a small ceasar and the smallest fry you have for my son (as he doesn't eat much at his age) and she stared at me for a good 5 seconds before saying" okay" and walking away. She's behind the bar talking to another server and talking about their personal life loudly. I see a huge difference in a year. I was so excited to come back here and i can live without the lamb, but the staff is not as friendly as they were last time. The smallest fry I asked for (thinking was kid sized) was half the size of my two year old. My small ceasar salad was maybe a cup and a bit of romane in what I'm thinking is mayonnaise for dressing. I sent it back and apologized that I didn't like it. Then she went over to the girl she was gossiping to and whispered and they both looked at me....

Great atmosphere and overall energy from entertainment and staff, would have got a 5 but the steak came I had to wait for the mushrooms that were steamed or nuked without butter seem blah for beauty 10oz cut served by a butcher, think i got excited when i heard through waitress the cook is a butcher but great cut very flavourful perfection, potatoes were dry and veggies look meh, beer was awesome and the appetizer was incredible but they were so busy by the time we got the chilli sauce the wife and I mustered our strength to barely wait, the fish tacos were to die for... straight up!, fries were good too, live music really added to the atmosphere, when he stopped playing the air was full of laughter and voices which also were good but it did feel more interactive and entertained obviously when he communicated between songs.... So again a 4 but potential to be a 5+ star all day long

We went to Redneck Bistro today around 2pm. When we arrived, it was crowded, so it's better to make a reservation 😊Our server, Kaitlin, was a very helpful and patient person 😍 We ordered our lunch and beer, and we didn't wait for long. We wanted to try local beers - number 10 was very good, fresh, and a little bit sweet, while number 15 was a dark bitter beer. Our food was very good😍 We ordered 10oz striplion steak dinner and buffalo chicken poutine. The steak was fresh and tasty, just like the poutine with chicken - the poutine was spicy but still very good! I can highly recommend this place, and for sure, we will go back there for the tasty food! The portions were very big, so make sure you're very hungry 😎😁 you make a good job guys! All the best!

I knew we had to try this place, if only because of the clever name. The "Redneck" part is the ambiance, including the furniture and hilarious tongue-in-cheek décor. The "Bistro" half represents delicious, high-end cuisine ~ like steak, pasta, and almond-encrusted salmon. You know, stuff that you'd expect from, well, a ritzy bistro! Anyway, we had a terrific time. Everything from the superb customer service from Lexi and the team, to the live music playing at just the right volume (a banjo never sounded so good!), to the best shrimp carbonara I've ever eaten. Oh, and to celebrate our wedding anniversary, they brought us a generous slice of complimentary melt-in-your-mouth carrot cake. Such a great night!
