Calabogie Motor Inn — Hotel in Greater Madawaska

We were on an off road motorbike trip late spring. We showed up around 8pm, exhausted, and without calling ahead. We just needed a place to sleep as we'd had a few mishaps in the bush, and didn't have the energy to find a place to camp. Luckily, they had a room available for us. Turned out to be way more than expected. The owners went over and above to make us comfortable. We asked if there was a wash bay in town so we could clean the mud off the bikes in the morning. There wasn't, so they got a hose out for us to use. They offered us their bbq to use instead of our little camp stoves to make dinner. So incredibly accommodating. The room had everything we needed also. If I ever get back to Calabogie, they'll be getting our business without hesitation....

What a fantastic little motor inn! I rode up with a friend weekend previous, truly enjoyed the scenery and thought my partner would like it as well. The next Monday called to book a room and spoke to very friendly lady full of suggestions for the area as far as dining choices. That next weekend my girlfriend and I rode up. Room was very clean, checking in was a breeze the use of the bbq was a great touch. We left in the morning with the door unlocked as the area felt very safe and we returned to a fully kept room. Great place for the ATVer or sled rider looking for some accommodations. Local food sources leave something to be desired however. Be sure to say hello to Connor, Nova and Mr Bean if you are stopping by....

I came through your establishment this past Saturday late evening. I was the cold and wet motorcyclist looking for a place to stay. Depstie not having a room over a very busy weekend, I wanted to thank you for the hospitality you showed me me by allowing me to charge my phone, use your phone to call my wife so she wouldn't worry, get my rain gear on, warm up and finally pulling out a map and getting me back on the right track.||||I know the kind woman was worried about me getting home safely that night, so here I am letting you know that I did - I was just a little cold.||||I'll be sure to get back to Calabogie very soon and this time with reservations at your inn.||||Thank you again for your warmth and...
