Tom Irwin Adventure Tours — Attraction in Greater Madawaska

Absolutely wonderful experience! Tom is operating a professional service in every aspect of his tours. Initial inquiries were answered promptly. Booking was an easy phone call. We arrived a little early and there was a warm fire pit burning to keep us toasty. Once the snowmobiles were prepped, we dressed in warm clothes provided by the tour. Kudos to Tom’s expertise in keeping the family warm and for Tom’s wife Lynn for helping us get our 11 & 13 year old boys in warmer gear that they never wore before. My wife was a rookie rider and Tom ensured that we went at the pace she was comfortable at. Our tour happened when it felt like -34C with windchill, but we all were warm and toasty. The ride was fantastic and Tom’s knowledge of the history of the area was a wonderful learning experience. A healthy and filling lunch was provided and we returned after getting our fill of fun. I cannot recommend this experience enough. Great service and a very relaxed atmosphere. You will not be disappointed with this tour. We will be back to Calabogie for another run. I don't normally write reviews but Tom did an amazing job. I love going off road on my Adventure Motorcycle and Mountain bike. My wife isn't as keen but is always up to to try new things so the ability to share this great tour with her was a great way to spend an afternoon. The ride was catered to our abilities and thrill levels. So there were times I felt challenged but never once did I feel I wasn't safe or out of my ability. If you can drive a car you can drive a side by side.

The views were amazing from small lakes that we were the only ones around to going up to the top of the Ski hill in the summer.

I'm already planning to head back to try his Snowmobile tour in the winter and I'm sharing this review with my friends so we can plan to go next year. I reached out to Tom a few weeks in advance to plan a very special 55th wedding anniversary outing for my parents. He offered them a personal tour where he would drive them and they could sit in the back of a covered ATV in comfort and enjoy the adventure. He took them up the summit of Calabogie Peaks and found a great spot for them to stop and have champagne and strawberries together. He was wonderful with them, and really engaging. He started off slow, but as my parents were having the time of their lives, he adjusted on the fly and increased the adventure as they went. My parents were smiling from ear to ear after their tour.
