Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Greater Napanee

Wow! What an experience! This happened on June 26/2024 @1.20pm, we got into the store and it was just us. So we told her what we want and she said she needs to replenish the toppings. We look over the counter and there was nothing completely out that she needs to replenish urgently and have us waiting. But we stay patient and said OK. 5 minutes went by and she asked if we have decided what we want. Duhhh! Of course we know so we place our order AGAIN. The girl who made my sandwich was a new staff and understandable she needs more time to do my sandwich but man, when she squeeze the sauce on my sandwich, there was like a 3 tablespoon of water/liquid, certainly not the sauce that came out! Yikes! She said it out loud about it and the lady who was teaching her said nothing at all. Way to go Ms Supervisor. Looking for a Mr Sub coming across the 401, this location was close to Hwy. When I exited I was concerned the location might be closed as the large sign was not illuminated. I almost left but drove around the building and saw the store still not sure it was actually operating as a Mr Sub since the sing on the storefront was also not lit up. In fact it is open! Young Lady working was very pleasant. I had mentioned the signs being off, she indicated they have been for some time. Visited this location for lunch today, hoping to grab a quick sub and be on our way. There was only one customer in front of us and only one staff member working. I understand it’s hard when you’re by yourself, but there was no sense of any kind of urgency to greet customers or take our order. We waited 20 minutes to order, and once we got through the process of ordering our subs and asking for them toasted, the meet was still cold (chicken breast). It was also the sub of the day we ordered and the employee did not know how to input this into the machine. Please train your employees properly before letting them work...
