Normally an excellent place with great service and food (4.5 stars); also, gotta support local. But I have to write this because I've experienced something completely unacceptable in a service industry. In anticipation for their Valentine's Special this year, we called two days in advance to ask about pre-ordering; the info we got was to call the day of, closer to our desired pick-up time. Valentine's Day comes, we call at 2:00 in the afternoon to order for 5:45 pick up, not unreasonable we would think. We know how busy it was going to be. We were asked our pick-up time, then we were told to call back an hour before pick-up and they can definitely get our order ready for then. Call at 5:45, "our kitchen is backed up, so we're not taking orders now so they can catch-up. Call back after 5" Now we're getting a little POd, because now we've been shoved down the line multiple times and clearly these other customers are getting their turn. Called back after 5:00 (tried 10 times in 5 mins) couldn't get through at all. If it's first come first serve, then our order could have fallen in line like the others and be ready by now. But instead, it lead to us going elsewhere for dinner. Sure we could get heated with them over the phone, but who would that serve? Our only hope is that management sees this and will correct this in the future. We can understand when things get busy....but when customers are clearly showing the initiative to call early so the kitchen knows, but get shafted to the back, that's simply poor service. That would be like reserving a table a day ahead and arriving only to find your table is taken because everyone else in the valley showed up before you, while the staff tell you "better luck next time". I hope there is a next time, and I look forward to enjoying a meal...
Read moreAfter surviving the culinary war zone that was St. Louis Bar and Grill, we came to Cousin Vinnie’s for two-for-one wing night like wounded survivors in search of salvation—and hallelujah, we found it.
From the moment we walked in, we could feel the difference. The place was clean, well-lit, and actually smelled like food, not despair. The staff greeted us like they were happy to be there (what a concept!) and our server? Friendly, confident, knew the menu inside and out. She even recommended sauces like some kind of wing sommelier.
We ordered a round of wings, and they came out hot, fresh, perfectly sauced, and so good we almost wept. The food at every table around us looked amazing too—like something out of a commercial where they actually serve the food they show.
It’s rare to find a place that nails both service and food, but Vinnie’s does just that. Clean, well-run, and clearly staffed by people who know what they’re doing. After the previous night’s disaster, this was a redemption arc we didn’t know we needed.
Highly recommend. Skip the heartbreak—just...

Food was AWFUL. If I could give it negative stars, I would. I had the grilled chicken on a bun and I don't know what was more dry, the bun or the chicken itself! I cut my sandwich in 1/2 & my bun literally fell apart that's how stale it was!! It crumbled. Truly, I wish I could post a pic to show you. I ordered the salad as a side with bluecheese dressing and the dressing was CLEARLY watered down as it was not thick and creamy as bluecheese dressing should be.
My Fiance had the battered fish & chips. The fish was obviously double deep fried?? or fried to long?? The batter crumbled off the fish the moment he cut into it. His fries were limp & lifeless and his gravy, like my dressing was watered down...it all sunk to the plate instead of coating his fries.
We were thinking of using them to cater our wedding... well, NOT anymore I can assure you! Like who screws up chicken??? It's the easiest protein to cook for goodness sake!!
We...
