Eyvan — Restaurant in Greater Sudbury

I really don’t know where to start...Service or quality of the food. Well I'll start from the beginning, sound good?

I'm on buisness and drove from Hamilton to Sudbury today. Traffic, running late as usual. Anyway I had a craving for some good chicken and rice.

It was 5:30 and I think I was downtown Sudbury? Somehow I found Eyvan. It wasn't easy, but I found it. They close at 6pm and the gentleman was packing up. Still he took my order, happily turned everything back on and made me dinner.

We had a very nice conversation while we waited for my food to cook. And I thought it was kind of him to turn everything back on for one dinner.

Now, I travel a lot on buisness. And because of traffic usually run behind. With that said, this man went above and beyond not only to cook my dinner at the very end of his day. But to make it perfect.

The picture does not do it justice. The chicken was melt in your mouth. And the special sauce for the rice....He should bottle and sell that stuff alone. It's to die for!

Thank you kindly sir. I had a perfect meal tonight. And also met a fantastic person. You do it right sir.

A perfect meal is saying a lot. Trust me, being on the road I have tried many places. And for the chicken and rice. Your's was perfect. And your service was even better!

As always the food, Owner, and overall experience is above and beyond your typical dining experience especially for a mall food court!! The owner is passionate about his food and presentation. This establishment is Always clean, food is fresh and perfectly flavored and consistent. I cannot say enough good things about the pride this man has and how he treats his customers. He truly cares about his customers and their flavor preferences always making sure everything you order is what you'll like. Today was my favorite dining experience I've ever had and truly represents how passionate this man is. My partner and love dining here and today he made us an amazing and adorable shawarma plate and turned our rice into a heart on our plate!!!!!

Honestly we could all take notes from the compassion, passion and presence this man brings to the world!!

I'll never forget this experience It's not everyday (or ever) you find service like this!! I cant wait to see and experience what he does opening his own lil intimate restaurant in the future!!

SOMETIMES A HALF WRAP CAN FILL YOUR WHOLE HEART I had to go for nuclear cardiology testing today. During the test, there’s a break where they want you to eat something and drink coffee. So I went downstairs to Eyvan, a little Persian place in the food court. I told the man working there that I didn’t need a full wrap, just a half, since I was in the middle of medical testing. He paused, looked at me, and said “OK, I’ll make you a half.” I was grateful. But when I went to pay… he wouldn’t take my money. He just waved it off. It might sound small to someone else, but to me it meant everything. In that moment, in the middle of medical stress, away from home, feeling a little vulnerable, it was more than food.
