MAMA’S GRILL — Restaurant in Greenwood

My first clue should’ve been the name. Pacific Grill in Greenwood? The place is friendly, clean, and fine for a meal, but the lunch was poor, and I’m normally very tolerant thinking I at least have something to eat. A grilled cheese sandwich described as 2 slices of bread with a pile of cheese sounded quite good. Add bacon, which I did, and it comes with fries. Low end bread and not a pile of cheese at all, and the cheese was quite tasteless. The sandwich was less than mediocre. But the fries…the fries! Dark brown, soft and greasy. You’d think the oil in the deep fryer hadn’t been changed since 1966. By far the worst fries I’ve ever eaten. Couldn’t do more than half of them and that was through ketchup force. Perhaps try a wrap but don’t trust the deep fryer. The coffee? Ummm…you...

A quick stop to meet up with family called for a impromptu stop at this location. We were all glad to have stopped there as the experience was good. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. The server appeared to have been the owner, or at the very least manager with his level of professionalism... but this has yet to be confirmed. We ordered a quesadilla and it was very tasty. The kids had fries and gravy... as well as little burgers. Even with some ingredients missing the kitchen was able to make due with a slight modification to the recipe, which the kids didn't even notice. The price was also resonable and the decor was good also. Over all, this restaurant was a winner and we will return if...

Stopped there for lunch today. Hadn't been for a couple years and thought we would receive the great lunch like last time. The ownership had changed. Noone was in there, and I now know why. there was 6 items on the menu, most deep fried items. One of the items we ordered were pakoras and basically got French fries, and, with NO chutney? I've always gotten chutney with Indian pakoras. The guys said that ketchup was like chutney? It also took them 1/2 hour to bring out our food. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I will definitely not go back again. It was extremely over priced for what we received. Terrible. So sad to see such poor menu items,...
