Good Fellas Pizza — Restaurant in Grey Highlands

My wife placed an order for delivery at 4:48 pm today. The store promised delivery within one hour. That hour came and gone(5:48) we called back and were then told 20 minutes that twenty minutes goes by and nothing we call back again at the 1 hour 35 minute mark and spend 10-15 minutes on the phone to be told that it was 7 minutes away because he just got to the area. That 7 minutes goes by and my pizza shows up at about 7:05. Upon arrival I try to explain to the delivery driver that he will need to wait a few minutes as we are trying to call his boss because he's an hour late from the promised time... he proceeds to tell me he's not going to wait and that I have to just pay for the pizza.... again mind you this pizza has takes a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes to arrive. I'm trying to call the restaurant to have a mutually agreeable resolution made for the extremely delayed delivery and this delivery driver just isn't having it. He started to get Lipy with me so I proceeded to get lipy back he tries to give me ab excuse that doesn't make sense to what he told his boss and his boss told Me and my wife. His excuse was that because it's a new subdivision he's spent the last 30 minutes driving around trying to find it. Even though he just told his boss less then 10 minutes ago he got to the small town I live in. He then proceeds to try and take off with my pizza and hits me with his vehicle...

Order arrived 2 hrs after I made the call. Had to ask for part of my order as delivery driver almost forgot my pop. Asked for a MeatLovers pizza with green olives.... there are no green olives on my pizza.

Paid $60 for my food to show up wrong, part of my order almost missing, and to wait 2 hours. I literally ate a meal, waiting for this pizza.

$60 seemed like a bit much for one medium pizza, an order of garlic sticks, 2 dipping sauce and 1 small drink, but in all fairness it has been a while since I ordered a pizza in general so maybe this isn't as expensive as it sounds to me..?

Good things I will say are the staff were pleasant and the food smells great; smells a lot better than it tastes, now, eating it. Not sure I would spend $60 for this experience again.. 😅

Hopefully I have better luck next time if I order from here again as it is the only place with delivery...

I've had 3 people tell me this is the best. Just the best, flat. No comparison.

So, of course, I needed to try it and believe me. It's worth the hype.

Full disclosure, I asked for it to be left in the oven a little longer for that crunch. I got a pepperoni, wasn't greasy, the size of a single slice is the same as a you see a ninja turtle eat, regrettably it didn't have the same cheese pull as the tmnt but that's okay. The cheese was perfect for the size. Sauce? Delicious. Heck, even the crust good!

It's not the top pizza personally. But truthfully, I've already told 5 people this week. It's top 3 for me, but I'm dying to go back and try some variety and reevaluate:3

P.s. I got two energy drinks, so my price rating...
