I asked for a cappuccino and a lady made me one that was extra hot out of a styrofoam cup. I told her that Italian espresso drinks are not meant to be given in such a way that it burns you when you drink it. Informs me that she's been making coffee for 7 years and this is how she does it and her espresso drinks are not made in a European fashion but in a western fashion. Not meaning to argue I told her I wasn't interested and that's when the gentleman who is also in the store blocked the exit and told me that I had to pay for the coffee even though I had not taken it. I told him to get out of the way and I left.

Read moreI'm writing this to say thank you to the lady that came while we were doing maintenance out front on the traffic intersection. She asked me and my partner if we would like a coffee and said we are more than welcome to use the bathroom. As she was walking up I was expecting the usual, "you're causing traffic!"or the typical, "I pay my taxes. What are you doing? Why isn't this done yet." Her generosity and kindness us blew away. As many know, most electricians run on very little sleep and lots of coffee! We have found our new hideout.

This one is a fine example of why a privately owned, unique coffee shop is a good thing in a small town.
