I have no doubt this place gets busy in the nice weather months as it is perfectly nestled in a nice neighbourhood by the marina. We showed up a few minutes before noon hoping to be able to still get breakfast. We were happy to have arrived when we did as cars began arriving quickly after that. We were able to get a window table which was great even on this cloudy day. We were served menus and coffees shortly after being seated. Everyone that helped is were super friendly and helpful. The coffee was quite tasty. We had the French Toast with bacon as well as the Pancakes with bacon. There were 3 slices (6 pieces) of French Toast; a generous serving! The bacon was delicious and cooked perfectly; extra, extra crispy. The pancakes were very fluffy and well cooked. This meal came with three large pancakes which were delish!!!

Food was good, just didn't have a "wow" factor that you would expect for the price. I had the stuffed Yorkie with fries ($15.49), my sister had the beef dip sandwich with Swiss cheese and fries ($17.49). We got there at 3, so our only choice was lunch. Breakfast menu ends at 3 and dinner menu starts at 4. Nice view of the marina on the patio. Unfortunately we chose a booth at the back of the inside of the restaurant and then a large party came in the back room beside us shortly after. Some of the people were mingling around right beside our table inside of in the meeting room, so it was quite loud. I don't know that I would go again if I were in the area, unless it was maybe for breakfast.

Generic British Colonial food. Atmosphere was confusing, presented as a Fishermans wharf style with 50's dinner music and a only seafood on the menu was fish and chips of which the restaurant smelled. Food was improperly prepared. I ordered the house weekend special which was shaved roast beef with the trimmings. Ordered medium received blue rare and bleeding, vegetables were frozen reheated and batch prepared and kept in steam tray and the gravy was a powered just add water overall a very poor dining experience for such a great location. Would not recommend nor will I return.

Spring 2025: Came for breakfast. Had a weekday early bird breakfast (2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 toast) and coffee which came to $15 per person Was served by a woman who must be north america's most disengaged waitress. Never experienced such a level of resenteeism before. Don't know her name but she always makes you feel unwelcome. The food however, arrived quickly and was warm and made you feel good. Decor is so much nicer than it was years ago, they've done a great job.

Summer 2024 Came for breakfast. Lots of indoor seating and some outdoor seating available as well. Coffee strong. Basic breakfast (2 egg,2 toast, scoop potatoes, no drink)$11 Standard breakfast (2 egg, 2 toast, 3 sausage, no drink) $13 Not that you'd have beer or dessert for breakfast but was surprised at the prices ($9 Coors light, $10.50 can of RTD Caesar, $10 slice of pie)

Fall 2023:Food was good and Menu was good. Fish and chips, BLT and stuffed Yorkshire pudding recommended. Service was quite busy and did try (though a few things...like a glass of water requested twice, never got) Hours (looked up online) said they were open until 8pm, so we were really surprised when they closed at 3pm (despite the owner replying that they don't usually close at 3pm, they did THAT day) and we had to find another place to finish our visit. Surprisingly, for November (when no one is there for the docks) parking was tight and I'd imagine in summer would...

The location was very nice, we were greeted by the Staff who were all very pleasant & they took us out to the small but nice patio. A few people around us & 2 of us had difficulty getting our too high chairs close to the table & also needed help getting down when finished! I think that they should assess their customers heights, physical ability & ages before taking them to these taller chairs, when they see someone using a cane then they should automatically be taken to a regular chair & table! I ordered a Stuffed Yorkie, it sounded & looked delicious, was quite disappointed because it wasn't warm & the Yorkshire Pudding was a little overcooked almost burnt, I should've had it reheated, I did take it home, reheated it but couldn't eat any of the outside of the over cooked Yorkshire Pudding. My friends ordered coffee which was cold so they had to have fresh hot coffee brought to them the Staff were very pleasant & quickly corrected the coffee orders. I would consider returning but will order something else. Maybe I should've returned my meal, it was too bad as the ingredients are ones that I normally love. I think it's worth a try just be aware of the high stools/chairs, I've heard that their pies are really delicious but for health reasons I didn't...

We came here specifically for two coconut cream pies to pick up for my Grandma we ended up staying to eat. We ordered the 2 piece fish and chips and my mama ordered the 8oz steak. I personally liked my meal but my mother said to me that the way I cook steak is much better and the one she ate had no seasoning on it at all. I will say it was cooked to the proper medium rare I will give credit for that. The vegetables were very bland as well I would suggest at least sauteeing in garlic butter, adding pepper or steaming with different herbs. Our server was phenomenal I believe her name was Ali but I lost the receipt so I could be wrong we came in on February 16th around 7pm sat by a booth near the bar. She was the only serving working with a hostess or a training server. She was very attentive and just an amazing conversationalist, you can tell she enjoys working for JJ and spoke very highly of the owners and what an amazing establishment they've built.

We would definitely return maybe make a different...
