You Had Me At Pizza — Restaurant in Grimsby

I stopped in at the restaurant for the first time, we were looking to sit down and have a pizza at some place new. I was not a fan of the regular crust that we got with our pizza, however my family did enjoy it. I found the crust to be to dense and doughy. I would ask for a thinner crust on a return visit. Overall, the customer service was ok, it seemed like a bunch of college students running the show, with no real attention to detail. The cup and char pepperoni were tiny and we did not get alot on our pizza. I do believe in supporting local, which is why I would try this place again, but they will have to hit a home run. I think I will try returning on a Tuesday and get the wing special with the purchase of a pizza. I was happy with the price of beer at $6 for a can of Steamwhistle. I’m sorry guys, I don’t usually do this… but I spent $50 and I work hard for my money, I thought I’d give this place a try as I’ve never been before, and I was so sadly disappointed, I’ve actually never in my entirely life had pizza this bad, undercooked in the centre with no cheese, the meatball slices were like rubber, almost no tomato sauce. The Callimari was tasty but the portion was palm sized and for $15 dollars I could go to Kelsey’s and have three times that amount of calimari for the same price. The cheese bread tasted better than the pizza which I couldn’t believe.

The pizza from this establishment is a 12 out of 10 it’s absolutely delicious the unfortunate part is the woman working the front desk taking all the orders and dealing with customers is atrocious she is angry and has no people skills, if you have to deal with people and you see them every day and you’re annoyed by everybody that walks in the front door maybe you should think about getting a different career. Both my wife and I have been honestly offended by how aggressive this woman is and how annoyed and bitter she seems when dealing with us with taking a simple pizza order.
