Pizza Pizza has the most frustrating customer service I have ever dealt with. My family place an order for delivery and were told it was supposed to arrive within 50 minutes. I wasnât able to respond to a phone call while we were waiting for the order to arrive so I happened to miss a phone call from the driver letting us know he was here. Instead of coming to the door and knocking like every other delivery service I have dealt with the driver left and returned to the store. I then had to call a different Pizza Pizza number and then was put through to customer service. This whole process took another 10 minutes. The driver coming and leaving and the phone call left us hungry for more than a hour. Luckily we hadnât paid online so the store didnât take our money, however if we had payed this would have even been a bigger problem. We were eventually promised they would deliver the Pizza as fast as possible which seems the only reasonable response to the circumstance. I will never order Pizza Pizza again, and wouldnât recommend it especially...
Read moreI, my husband and mother ordered pizza for delivery tonight. We are here on vacation from Ontario and have ordered from Pizza Pizza in the past many times. I ordered at 7:44pm and waited over an hour for my pizza. Contacted customer service only to be on hold for 10+ mins. The delivery driver finally calls me and shows up. He said that I didn't put the address in correctly and he even couldn't story straight on where he left the pizzas. He left them sitting out in the rain for 30 mins with no call to my phone or following simple instructions (i did add BACK DOOR). The driver was then rude to myself and my mother. Contactless or not you would call the customer to inform them that their pizza had been delivered. Thankfully I will never have to go back to this location. But I don't think I will be ordering from pizza...
Read moreEver since Pizza Pizza started using a call centre for ordering pizza, service has gone out the window. I just spent 22 minutes on the phone to order two large pizzas.
First, the agent didnât even know what location I was talking about. Then, he couldnât understand the concept of half and half on a pizza. After putting me on hold for a couple minutes, he seems to have gotten the hang of it. By the time I finished placing the order, I was standing in front of the woman at the pick up location. It genuinely wouldâve been quicker for me to walk in and place it deftly with her, as she had to wait a minute or two for the order to come through.
Certain things shouldnât be centralized and the concept of a central pizza ordering call centre seems...
