New Wing Wah — Restaurant in Halifax

I ordered food back in the lockdown months, which was delicious abit spilled and crushed. I came to pickup my order, and they forgot to put the wet floor sign out in the entrance, I flew in the air, felt like Marv from home alone in the basement greased floor scene, then in turn I sprained my ankle, not thinking it was bad. Knowing a report as this would damage the restaurant and any restaurant in this locked down times. So we decided to just do some free food once in awhile when I come in which is very rare once a year it has been, when I came in the owner pretended like she didn't remember. (Ps Always get things in writing or just claim it and hold the restaurant accountable, the karma will balance this situation out either way)

This is our newly discovered favourite Chinese restaurant in HRM. Fresh ingredients and deliciously seasoned meals. The best we’ve had here! The service is always very friendly and helpful when choosing meals too. I’ve just gotten off the phone to place a take out order today and for the first time was very put off by the rude attitude of the person taking my order on the phone. New staff? Message to owners...3:45pm Sunday October 20 whoever is working your cash/phone today is not doing your business justice...very abrupt and inpatient sounding and hung up on me in...

After reading rave reviews, I ordered take-out and was so, so disappointed. I had expected authenticity and it was not. My step-father was a very recent immigrant from China and I know authenticity! A few months later, I realized there is a second, Chinese menu, so ordered again tonight. OH MY GOODNESS!!! SO EXCELLENT! Fresh, flavourful, DELICIOUS!! I thought maybe the prices were a little steep, but the portions are so generous, I was wrong. Excellent value in every regard! I don't eat out often, but plan to work my way through every item on the (Chinese)...
