Randy's Pizza - Kearney Lake — Restaurant in Halifax

Best donairs we ever had. Lots of meat very tasty. Better than king of donair,........... I'm just writing and editing This review that was already existing. We stopped going because they were putting less in the product in the Donair's which is very disappointing. Shrink flation, huh? It's a real thing. When we approach them on it, they basically told us that they put the same amount of meat in it That they had a set measurement, That is what they told us. If you know what I mean, it was probably a set measurement after they started getting smaller. They only said that not to make themselves look Bad. I used to eat there a lot. I know what I Used to eat, and what I was eating that night. Was not the same size, donair. as a matter of fact, it ticked me off so bad the Way that they replied, to it, That We stoped going, Believe you, me. I needed to lose the Weight anyway. It was a good reason to quit. It is true they do make it better than king of Donair as far as I'm concerned. The Moral of the story is "watchout" for shrink Flation and the prices going up And the amount of meat in the donair going down They do seem like pretty good people But, they have to make a buck. So just keep that in mind the products good. It should be bigger.... but you...

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I feel like this Randy's location is definitely worth taking a second to talk about. Regardless of menu, or staff, I've been ordering from Randy's other locations for a while. They always have the best customer service, and deliver the best food. I'm also super hard to please when it comes to a pizza, and Randy's had been the closest I got to the pizza I grew up with back home. I work nearby, and for almost a year, I ordered delivery from Randy's in Sackville. When I came to work one day, and seen Randy's had replaced the old Pizzeria down the way, I was excited (The other Pizza was good as well mind you. I believe the owners retired recently, but they were fantastic. My worry was that it was just going to shut down, or go to someone that didn't have as good service. So happy that wasn't the case). Myself, and the other staff here order from Randy's all the time. Pizza, Burgers, Fish and Chips, Nachos, everything they make is amazing.

The area has quite a few pizza shops around, but between the price point, and quality of food, Randy's should be your go to. You'll never get bad food, or anything less than...

We stayed at the Holiday Inn across the street & just wanted an easy/delicious dinner we could bring back to our room. There are other familiar pizza chain locations around but we wanted to try Randy’s as it was new for us. The reviews were quite positive & the pizza selection looked good so we went for it…so glad we did!! The staff on the phone were patient in answering questions & offering suggestions. We had the bacon cheeseburger on half, the works on the other half - SO YUM!! They are generous with the toppings & the sauce is a really nice base. The kids enjoyed half cheese/ half pepperoni - my son liked it so much he asked if we were sure we couldn’t get this in Toronto!! We also ordered the Donair egg-rolls which my husband & I loved (didn’t care for the sweet sauce). We also got a small order of garlic fingers based on the reviews & loved them, too. (Just not a fan of the sweet sauce with them.). All in all, would definitely recommend...
