When we arrived at the first window, we were helped by an employee named Dan. We had a free offer and a coupon that we intended to use together. The free offer was for a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger using my points, and the coupon was for a free 6-piece nuggets with a combo purchase. Unfortunately, neither offer was scanning properly. During this time, Dan was not very helpful, he interrupted us repeatedly and spoke in a manner that felt dismissive and unprofessional. When we suggested he call a supervisor since the system wasn’t scanning the offers, he responded with, “Yes, I am,” while closing the window halfway as we were still speaking. When the supervisor arrived, he told us we could only use one offer at a time. However, we’ve used both a free offer and a coupon together before without issue. The free item from the app is something I’ve technically earned through purchases, so it doesn’t feel like it should count against using a coupon that comes with a combo. I mentioned that I also work at Wendy’s, and the supervisor responded, “Listen buddy, I’ve been working at Wendy’s for a long time. I know how things work.” While I understand he may have experience, there was a better and more respectful way to communicate that. On top of everything, both combo meals we received came with noticeably fewer fries than usual. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a poor experience at this location. I ordered from here a few months ago via uber, i was sent a RAW chicken sandwich. I had to force myself to get sick.Because I was in the early stages of my pregnancy and was worried about my baby. I couldn't even eat the rest of my food. I called the manager who offered nothing more than an apology, i asked what she planned on doing.They stated they would just train the grill guy better. I asked for a refund.She told me that she couldn't give me one that I had to go through uber, then, she offered me coupons that to this day, three months later, still haven't arrived. I had contacted their district manager.Their customer service, the department of health & didnt end up getting anything more than a 20$ app credit good for a month, even though i told them i probably wouldn't be returning. Which was very disappointing because I had eaten at this specific location for almost twenty years.With all of my family members and never had a single issue. And does someone that has worked in customer service for fifteen years, as a customer, I shouldn't have to ask a manager. What they're going to do in order to write the wrong that is serving somebody raw chicken, not even undercooked it was still raw. The person manning the drive thru greeted and said what can I get you and then made me feel rushed by continuously asking anything else, anything else and then just drive thru. The interactions at the window are even worse, with very little to no interaction or communication at all. When paying the window is just slid open, the total announced and the pin pad presented without even asking how will you be paying, so when paying cash it feels like an inconvenience as they sigh and have to then cancel the pin pad transaction. Once the payment is completed 9/10 times there is no further communication, instructions or anything from the staff to say thank you/ go to the next window etc etc. Then when collecting the order at the final window more often then not the window is slid open and a bag shoved at you with no thank you, or have a good day or do you need napkins etc etc. As someone who has worked in fast food it makes me cringe and sad that this is the state of our...
