My kids and I love this park!
A major perk, is that the entire park is fenced in. There are 3 different spread out playground structures…. almost as if they’re for different age groups. There’s 2 different swing sets, the smaller swing set is for babies/ small toddlers. The bigger swing set in the back of the park has 2 baby seats but mainly big kid seats. There’s a sandbox! An open feild area to do some fun things. There’s a Gazebo, lots of benches, Splash Pad, Picnic tables, and lots of trees for shaded areas. Sometimes there is an Outhouse (because there’s no bathroom) by the fence.
There is also a Daycare/ After School/ Community like, Building that offers these sorts of things.
Sometimes there are lots of teenagers that hangout here- usually they’re mindful of the kids…. So far, I’ve had positive interactions with them.
I rate it a 4/5 stars!
I spend too much time picking up garbage here, just so that my kids are not tempted to touch it or put it in their mouths.
Especially with things like needles being found in different areas in Halifax, where children play.
For what the Building on the Parks property offers to the Community, I think the garbage situation should be addressed and handled more...

People with dogs seem to respect this area and do clean...

The spawns are pretty good. It would be nice if the park had dog hours (but I'm sure people would abuse it and the city doesn't want to deal...
