Bistro 2 Go — Restaurant in Hamilton

For being on campus food it’s probably one of the best locations — can get very busy around 8pm and crowded along w/ the second cup line. Food is always hot and fresh from the order line, and I haven’t come across anything raw yet. Some other foods like the wraps aren’t as good. Fries are usually over-fried but again, still good fries. One warning: sometimes they don’t know how to make the orders… for example I got chili twice but once it had cheese curds and crunchy bits, the other time it had salsa and sour cream. Which is odd (it’s supposed to come with salsa and sour cream) I also ordered a BCG poutine that was supposed to come with bacon, green onions, and sour cream, but It came with just bacon and some random shredded cheese? I mean I liked it but not what I ordered, double check with them if you’re really stingy about it though otherwise...

Always a longish line. But food is good. Obviously theres tons of better places off campus to get food at but the shawarma poutine and burger are good. Dont get the nashville crispy chicken in bread, its literally just a 6inch sub of crispy chicken with a salad ontop and some hot sauce. Also if u want additional sauces they charge you

Notable experience: they gave me a raw 6oz single patty burger during lunch hour instead of 2 3oz patties (how fun!) but i wasnt bothered to go back and just threw the patty...

The pulled pork poutine is good And burger good. and french fries 50x better than centro...
