Ordered food online at kfc.ca on Saturday night. The confirmation email said it would take "about 60 minutes". no problem. 120 mins later: nothing. So I called the 800 number in the email. They put me through to the store and the guy who answered wouldn't let me finish talking, told me he had to "delay the orders" there was no communication of this though) for all delivery and he'd get my order out right away. Another half hour passed. Nothing. So I called back. Still wouldn't let me talk (kept cutting me off) and said now that he couldn't confirm if he even had the order but he must have sent it out because he doesn't see it anywhere and that the driver is on the way. Ok, fine. I waited another half an hour and nothing. Called the 800 number again and they cancelled my order and refunded my money. The driver never showed up. If it actually was sent out like I was told I should have gotten the delivery even after cancelling.
All that needed to be done was for them to call or email and say that the store was really busy and they couldn't get a delivery order out. I mean, it's complete BS that they prioritize based on who is in the store as opposed to who orders first but I'd even have offered to come pick up the order had I been told that delivery just wasn't going to work out.
KFC is a guilty pleasure of mine but after this last experience, I am just not going there anymore. This isn't the first time I've experienced longer than expected delivery times and it was clear to me that this time the person at the store just didn't give a flying "you know what" that they had dropped the ball and wanted nothing to do with me. I'm sure when the order was cancelled he was relieved that it was over. Horrible Customer service. I know KFC is a very large company and my decision to no longer eat their food won't hurt them a bit but I don't care, they doesn't deserve anymore of my money after this location's horrible...
Read moreDirty environment. Poor service from the cashier. Food is zero. It used to be good. Now they either are passing off smaller pieces of meat as their larger ones. And if not that, then they are re- deep frying old pieces causing the meat to shrink. The famous chicken chicken sandwich is supposed to be LARGE. And the bun usually cannot encase the chicken. The famous chicken chicken I ordered was shrunk, blackened around the edges as it was burnt not crispy. The buns were too big for the patty! :s which is not the case with this item. I KNOW because I order frequently and have done many reviews at other locations. It looked nothing like the famous chicken chicken sandwiches I've purchased from this location before. I know these pieces to be HUGE. And when confronted the manager, the cashier both denied what I was saying. Telling me I was wrong, "sir that is the famous chicken sandwich." Even though, I know for a fact it wasn't.
Regardless, I asked for my money back because there is no way I am paying for a size LARGE sandwich and getting a small shriveled piece of garbage.
The only reason they get one star is because they honored refunding my money.
Not without attitude though.
Note to you guys, the customer is ALWAYS right. Period. Especially when they rate in the top 10% of Google eatery reviews. Smarten up. And clean up.
The atmosphere is rated a 1 out of 5 as I cannot select a zero, the floors were so filthy and sticky that my shoes were getting stuck to the ground. Smudges all over windows. Counters covered in finger prints and just overall not what you'd expect from a food service environment.
I always say this, if you don't want to work... go home. Because there are people out here that can and would do your job 100x better and with a smile on their...
Read moreProbably one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. When I arrived the cashier was busy serving a customer so I proceeded to use the kiosk to make my order. I placed my order and didn't get a receipt as the machine was out of paper. I began to wait for my order as several more customers began to enter the restaurant. The kfc team got into a full out screaming match with a difficult customer that kept claiming their order was incorrect. Instead of serving other customers the team proceeded to repeatedly throw out the difficult customers food and fulfilled each of their requests. I waited 37 minutes to get 2 Tuesday specials. I only got my food because I was at the counter attempting to request a refund after being ignored for approximately 15 minutes. I was literally one minute from walking out without my food or money as I was then late for work. The cashier offered me a free drink which I declined as I dont believe the manager would have authorized all these free food bribes. Sanders would roll over in his grave if he knew the direction his franchise was going. I once represented the KFC team and I can tell you YUM corp would be furious with this location if they knew how it was being handled. After all that my food which was old tasted like chemicals.
