I have felt like my rights have been violated. I was sitting with a group of people of colour and the manager had came up to us and told us that we are welcome to stay if we bought food. We had respected her rules and we got up and went to go buy food. We had waited for 15 minutes In line for our order to be taken. After we had ordered and waited for our food, the manager had came up to us and told us to take our food and leave and that we were no longer welcome there. When asked what was the reason, she had no excuses and would not provide her name. She was not wearing proper uniform, for example, her name tag, as well as a hair net. After five minutes of asking what her name is, she had told us it was Nina. We all are clearly people of colour and that is why I believe that this is racially motivated because she had also kicked out other students that were coloured. To add on to my statement, there were people trashing the place, vaping in front of the workers, being very disrespectful and using harsh words towards the workers, as well as being very loud, and the manager (Nina) and head manager (Colleen) had done nothing about it.

Another reason why I believe that this was racially motivated is because I had been kicked out of tim hortons on Thursday of last week. When asked why, they had told me that it was not what I did but what my friends have done. That day one of my friends had been scrolling through ticktok and she heard this Palestinian song so she turned it up just a bit so I can hear it (I am Palestinian) and right after, the head manager had came and kicked us out.    Read moreI am extremely disappointed in the Dewitt Road, Stoney Creek franchise. My friend and I get coffee from this location almost on a nightly basis and I have never had an employee who was nice to us. They are always rude and sarcastic and are very impolite to us. You can barely hear them when ordering in the drive thru, and when we politely brought it to their attention they were aggressive and irritated that we told them of the problem. Our order is wrong almost every-time, yet we are still polite about it and pay for our items. Tonight, we went and simply got 1 Iced Coffee made with almond milk and another Vanilla Iced Coffee. Both were wrong but we only asked for the one that was made with cream instead of almond milk to be remade because of allergy issues. When we brought that to their attention the lady at the window yelled "We have no almond milk" I asked for it to be made with normal milk instead and it was made with cream. The lady who made the incorrect iced coffees was talking about us, knowing the window was open and that we could hear her. She then proceeded to walk to the window and pour milk into a cup and taste it saying "This is milk, I know what milk tastes like." I then politely told them how I get this drink on a daily basis and that the one I was served was clearly made with cream (as this has happened before and I was sick after the one made with cream).
