Subway — Restaurant in Hanna

Walked into this Subway, order a footlong - nothing fancy, just trying to fuel up for the day. Here’s where it gets interesting. The employee cuts my sandwich, then does this thing where she puts the cheese on the side facing away from me. Now, I’m not trying to be difficult, but I’ve been to Subway before, and usually you can see what’s going on with your sandwich. When I politely asked if that was the standard amount of cheese, she got pretty defensive and insisted it was “two scoops.” Look, I wasn’t born yesterday. That was definitely not two scoops, and the whole reason she put it on the hidden side was pretty obvious. When I mentioned this didn’t look right, her attitude shifted to somewhere between annoyed and “how dare you question my cheese distribution skills.” I didn’t want to make a scene, so I just let it go. But honestly, customer service shouldn’t feel like you’re negotiating a hostage situation. Their AC was also not working, It was sweltering in there, which I get - equipment breaks down. But combined with everything else, it made for a pretty uncomfortable experience. And yeah, the restrooms were a mess too, which just felt like the cherry on top of an already disappointing visit. I’m not asking for miracles here, just basic service and maybe enough cheese to actually taste it. Apparently, that’s too much to ask at this location. Won’t be back ever at...

Staff don't communicate well, resulting in sandwiches being made wrong before your eyes. I didn't order guacamole, and when I pointed that out, they decided to start over with a type of bread I didn't order and proceeded to dump the guac-contaminated sandwich contents already in progress sloppily on to the new wrong bread. Just start over! Seeing that this wasn't going to end well, I just cancelled the order given barely any acknowledgement by the staff that there was any problem at all. The staff were very unfriendly. The cashier was told a combo but did not inform the purchaser what all comes with a comdo. If it were not for the purchasers wife he would not have got the chip's. At least when purchasers wife picks up his sandwiches in their home town there is a little more meat and cheese in the sandwich. Not very happy with the Hannah Subway.
