This score is based entirely off of the poor customer service I received this morning. I understand where this Tim Hortons is located so lots of people speak French. I do not, but my son does who was sitting beside me when I received my drink. I placed my order around 6am and the guy had trouble understanding me at first, but everything worked out. No problem. I drive up and pay. As the window closes the guy that took my order made an unnecessary comment about me in French assuming I wouldn’t understand what he said. My son did and told me this guy was extremely rude and explained what he said. Not going back to this location. If the owner of this location reads this and wants more details of the individual who took my order and my money, let me know.

Read moreI used to enjoy having my coffee at this Tim Hortons — it was a nice spot to relax and chat. But over time, I became disappointed with the inconsistency in service. I would simply ask how long ago the coffee was brewed — as their own sign says, the coffee should be fresh every 30 minutes. Some employees were honest and gave me the exact time, while others said they weren’t sure. In those cases, I would politely ask for a fresh coffee, and usually, it wasn’t a problem.
But one day, the manager stepped in, clearly annoyed by my perfectly reasonable request. She even went so far as to threaten to ban my partner from all Tim Hortons locations, claiming she manages several of them. After that, the atmosphere changed, and I hardly go there anymore.
It’s disappointing that a customer can’t even ask for fresh coffee — something the store itself promises — without being treated like a problem. It’s really not a big ask, especially for a coffee that costs just a few dollars. A...
