Mikko Café & Torréfacteur — Restaurant in Hudson

Gorgeous little shop/boutique with stunning atmosphere! My fiancé and I stopped by on a whim and we are so glad we did! We are traveling from New York visiting my family in Montréal as well as looking at a few wedding venues while we are here and we were looking for a place to grab some caffeine/and a snack on the way back to our hotel. We got both food and drinks, and the coffee and egg sandwiches we ordered were delicious.

The cafe is cozy and unbeknownst to us, there was a whole entire upper floor with beautiful decor to sit down and enjoy our order. The service was fantastic and Mia was so hospitable and attentive, physically bringing our items upstairs to us. She even gave us a small treat to go and wrote "Congrats!!" with a small heart on the bag for us in celebration of our engagement. While today is less than appealing, ideal, and very dreary due to the rain, Mia brightened it up with her kindness and warmth.

Fresh roast coffee is good, but overpriced. In my experience - delusionally self-entitled owners who act like customers work for them, not vice versa. Simple misunderstandings they choose to make into confrontations in which the customer is blamed for Kaito's own failure to deliver - because the customer is not "loyal" and a customer complaint means a lack of respect for what they call the Kaito "family". What a family! Take your coffee, just say "Yes, Massa", don't ever get uppity, don't you never talk back, and you will got along fine with Kaito Coffee. But I thank Kaito for copping an unreasonable attitude - made me finally find much better coffee elsewhere at a far better price! Many...

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an incredible vibe—warm, inviting, and buzzing with just the right energy. The coffee? Pure perfection.
