I recently had the pleasure of dining at A & W in Cookstown, and I must say that it deserves a solid 5-star review. Since moving to Thornton, my family and I have visited this establishment numerous times, and each visit has left us thoroughly impressed.

The food at A & W in Cookstown is exceptional good, and I dare say it ranks among the best A&W restaurants we have ever been to. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are on point, and the overall quality is outstanding.

I ordered my food, and the onion rings were fresh, Too mush Salty. . . Was there really that much salt? I definitely won’t be coming back. The onion rings weren’t fresh—they were made by three people but still seemed expired and then re-fried. So, what’s the point of hiring so many people if the food is still this unappetizing? And the issue came when the woman at the counter, without gloves, handled the food. She reached down from above, and her hands touched my onion rings. It honestly grossed me out. I didn’t feel like causing a scene, but it’s clear she hasn’t been properly trained for this role, especially one involving food handling. The hygiene standards were seriously lacking.😩😩😩
