Eddie's Donair & Pizza — Restaurant in Jasper Place

Was looking for a new wing place after my favourite one stopped offering wings on their menu and I have to say, I'm really surprised. There are SO many sauce options for their chicken wings which I've never seen before at any other diner/restaurant. Lots of extremely spicy options. I chose the honey garlic and it was absolutely delicious. The wings are cooked to perfection and slathered in the sauce.

The sauce is actually thick, tasty and flavorful. You can tell the cooks smothered it all over the wings in a pan or plate to coat it perfectly. I've had my fair share of disappointing experiences of cold, dry wings with thin, runny sauce all over the box before and at Tastii they know how to cook sauced up wings correctly!

In the box there are some carrot strips and ranch sauce which is a really nice touch, reminds me of the classic buffalo wings recipe with the veggies and ranch on the side.

However, I won't be giving it 5 stars because of the value. The value of the chicken wings is certainly not worth it... You get about 8 wings for $15. That is a RIDICULOUS price, especially when compared to other prices of wings in the city. If it was $15 for 12, that wouldn't be too bad but 8 for $15 is awful, I'm sorry. I've had 10 for $11 and the price really deterred me from the wings. And it's not a combo either, so again, very, very poor value... Please consider pricing it appropriately and since there are cheaper options I just don't think I can justify to myself to spend $15 for 8 wings. Unfortunately for that reason I will not be ordering again.

From what I know, the chicken options and the pepperoni on the pizza is halal. Not sure about the beef options, I don't think...

Idk , I find it very depressing that I bought a $20 thing of butter chicken hoping for it to be amazing - especially giving it is $20 PER serving .. wellllll , this is honestly the most disgusting butter chicken i have ever had .. like , idk man ...

Also why does the chicken (i should put quotes on chicken) have strings of fat able to be pulled off of it ? Idk .. I have had two bites .. both of which were not good nor that enjoyable .

The only thing good is the Naan and even then, alone , it is probably over priced ..

Very upset that I just wasted $20 for something that disrespects actual butter chicken , like even the white people butter chicken at Costco has more flavor and is consumable ..

Tbh , questioning if this is actually chicken as it has a very rubbery feeling while I try to chew... almost like pork instead of chicken ... feeling really weird about this food and honestly wish I could recieve a refund as I don't think I'll be continuing to consume this after my two bites :/

Edit ; I also got sweet sauce and it tastes JANKY as hell , not sweet , very much a sauce but this is not sweet sauce . Yea , i don't think this is chicken I think this is pork.. he gave my butter pork it seems and if it is chicken, ya'll have...

Most disgusting “donair pizza” I’ve ever had. First of all, it was cold. Secondly, the pizza crust is like rock solid, cold cement bread. I ordered through Uber eats and I selected pizza sauce - regular and there’s no sauce on this donair pizza. Only sweet sauce on top. There’s no cheese on this pizza, maybe like only minimal cheese on the “crust” (if you can call it that). It’s basically just the bread, shreds of cheap tasting donair meat, a few tomatoes and onion and sweet sauce. When I bite into a slice of this pizza I feel like my teeth are going to break.

I also had to pay $2 for a drink while ordering the pizza (there was no option to go forward without selecting the $2 drink) and I never received it with my order.

The donair poutine was mostly gravy (barely any sweet sauce, just a drizzle!!!) and gross tasting donair chunks - Like corner store quality donair. I’m not surprised because their “butter chicken” is literally store bought pre-cooked chicken strips thrown in a random tomato sauce with some spices. Doesn’t taste anything like butter chicken and the quality of the chicken was extremely disappointing.
