Indeed, sometimes it's not just about the restaurant or the food; it's the people who make all the difference. In this case, I must emphasize the exceptional service provided by Aryan, our server. In the realm of hospitality, Aryan truly shone as a rockstar. His dedication, proactive approach, and genuine warmth transformed an ordinary dining experience into something truly memorable. It's people like Aryan who elevate a restaurant visit from good to outstanding, and their contribution should be celebrated and acknowledged. Aryan's exceptional service was the highlight of my dining experience, and he deserves all the accolades for making it truly special.
Upon our arrival, despite his busy schedule, Aryan greeted us with a beaming smile. He immediately served us water in lovely copper pots without asking. This is something that is very Indian and should never be lost in restaurants catering to Indian food.
What immediately struck me was his proactive approach—he informed us that the buffet service would be available in just 20 minutes. Considering we had arrived a bit early, this gesture of letting us know the timeline was greatly appreciated. The lunch service had just concluded, but Aryan didn't leave us hungry. He promptly took our snack orders, and what followed was a delightful culinary journey. The fish pakoras were a sensory delight—steaming hot, visually appealing, and exuding a wonderful aroma. The vegetable samosas were equally delightful, serving as a perfect prelude to the main course. However, it was the chicken samosas that stole the show, with their unique, spicy flavor that left a lasting impression. Kudos to the chef!
Aryan attended to our needs with politeness and humility. Throughout our meal, he kept us informed about the timing of our food and ensured that everything met our expectations. It was evident that he was dedicated to providing top-notch service.
The restaurant itself was impeccably maintained, thanks in no small part to Aryan's diligent efforts and the team. He was constantly tidying up and cleaning, ensuring a clean and pleasant dining environment for all patrons.
When the buffet service began, he informed us that we could proceed to help ourselves, it was clear that the restaurant's attention to detail extended to its cuisine. The menu was thoughtfully curated, covering all food groups, from fresh salads to delectable yogurt, pickles, and chutneys—all maintained at the perfect temperature. The food was not just fresh; it was divine in both aroma and taste.
If I were to offer a suggestion, it would be to have the Naan bread served in a separate container at the buffet table. However, I must acknowledge that when we made this request, it was promptly fulfilled.
What truly impressed me was the collective effort of the restaurant staff. I had the opportunity to chat with Mayank (I hope I got your name right), and what stood out was the teamwork. Everyone took turns to ensure the quality of service and food, consistently checking in with us for feedback.
Absolutely, it's evident that good management plays a pivotal role in creating a remarkable dining experience. Although I didn't have the opportunity to meet Mr. Pawar, the Manager, I believe he deserves commendation for the excellent training and service standards upheld by his team. A seamless and memorable dining experience like the one I had is a testament to his leadership and commitment to delivering top-notch hospitality. Kudos to Mr. Pawar for his contribution to making this restaurant an outstanding culinary destination.
In conclusion, I can wholeheartedly say that I will definitely return to this restaurant. Aryan and the entire team have set a high standard for both service and cuisine, and it is always people that make or break an establishment. I look forward to experiencing their...
Read moreWe have never been to Namaste India's actual restaurant but we have ordered their food through Skip the Dishes many many times. I decided to write a review because of the unfair review below from a male user who states that the dishes didn't come with rice. To be honest, I have never ordered a curry dish that came with rice or Nan bread. If you are unknowledgeable to this genre of cuisine, and doesn't know how to order properly, maybe you should stick to ordering something else. Don't be unfair and give a low score review just because you don't know how to order properly. Oh, and just my 2cent, I am Chinese, and anytime we order a sharing dish, NOTHING comes with rice neither, so you might want to stick to western food? but just a warning, ordering a burger doesn't usually comes with fries neither. Again, my 2cent.
Anyhow, the Butter Chicken is our go to dish at Namaste. We always order Garlic Nan bread or the Coconut rice. The coconut rice is $4 but it comes in a large take out box and it is always packed. The coconut rice smells amazing, and taste even better with the Butter Chicken. I haven't tried any appi, and I have to agree with some reviewers that the price is a little steeper than a few East Indian restaurants in town, but it is worth it as Namaste is the next level stuff. When we first looked at the menu on Skip the Dishes, we found the price a bit higher too, but after we ate there for the first time, we realize the things they make a top quality, and we have been going there a lot for the past year.
We are excited as we are planning our first trip to the actual restaurant soon, and I am sure it will be a different experience eating it fresh in the diner verses ordering it from home!

Read moreUpdate: they moved locations and now offer a buffet. I was happy that their prices were quite a bit lower than competing restaurants in the area & thought this place was going to be a regular stop for my husband and I. We went in for a dine in buffet a couple times when they first opened at their new location and didn't have complaints.
HOWEVER I went in to get a take-away buffet & never did I expect to be watched. One of the servers came up to me to say that I needed to mind what I'm placing in my takeout container so that there is enough for all their customers. I've taken take away buffets at other Indian restaurants before and never had any issues. I was confused as the whole point of a buffet is "take what you want". But here, the Namaste server said that I should take more gravy and less meat. I was so shocked and speechless that I handed him my container, and walked out. Not sure if they have too many servers standing around with nothing to do but spy and be rude to customers or if they’re trying to be lazy to not cook more for the buffet or if they want to save money as their buffet price point is quite low. The server asked me to order off of the menu a la carte as i would get 8 pieces of meat with that. Seriously???!
They have forever lost my support and my business. They truly have poor customer service and hospitality. I have seen them treat Canadians better than East Indians and this is pretty racist towards your own community. Very sad!
I guess after they moved, they decided to be rude and disrespectful. I guess this is where I part ways with Namaste - which is not so Namaste and welcoming sadly after all especially to...
