I discovered Joe's while on a bachelorette earlier this year, and I ordered their old fashioned and absolutely loved it. I am not from Kingsville, however I go a Chiropractor in Kingsville once a month and my husband and I would make it a little date night and grab an old fashioned after. Last night we went, ordered 2 old fashioned cocktails and the lady looked at me like I had 7 eyes. She showed me their cocktail menu and it was crossed out; bummer. So I ordered wine instead, and my husband asked what kind of beer they had. She pointed to a section on the cocktail menu and insisted they were all beer. There was - maybe - two beers on this menu, and my husband ordered the Canadian Club and Ginger which was clearly not a beer. We went upstairs, as I brought my wine glass to my mouth, I noticed there was a lipstick stain as well as other....miscellaneous flecks on and in the glass. I went downstairs and informed the lady working and she grabbed me a new glass, looked at it to make sure it was clean, apologized and said she didn't know why it was dirty she washed them today, and poured me a new glass of wine. When I got upstairs, I noticed this glass was dirty as well. Regretfully, I finished it as it seemed like the flecks were only on the outside of the glass. I do not believe she was properly trained, or informed on the products being sold, and she should not have been left by herself. I am very disappointed, grossed out, and will not be...

Joe Hot + Cold is a delightful cafe that offers a truly lovely ambiance. The moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay and relax. The decor is very modern and clean-looking, which adds to the overall appeal of the place.

The food and drinks here are really good, with a variety of options that cater to different tastes. One standout item is their matcha – it's absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying if you're a fan. The quality of the ingredients and the care put into each dish and drink are evident.

However, it's important to note that everything is quite expensive. While the quality and taste are top-notch, the prices are significantly higher than what you might expect. So, if you're planning to visit, be prepared for a bit of a splurge.

That being said, I definitely plan to come back to treat myself, but not all the time – just once in a while. Overall, Joe Hot + Cold is a wonderful spot with great food and drinks and a modern, clean ambiance. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a cozy place to enjoy some tasty treats and don't mind...

My friend and I planned a day to check this place out and didn’t realize they closed at 7pm. We got there around 6:47pm and felt bad entering so late, but the barista instantly made us feel at home. He asked us what we wanted and we replied that we had no idea. We came up with the thought to ask for surprise drinks and the barista was ecstatic! I ordered something with caramel while my friend ordered something with pistachio. Both drinks were amazing and just what we needed on this rainy October day! He then said the drinks were on him- the sweetest guy ever. Such a great experience! Definitely recommend to anyone! The service is great, the store front is clean and the atmosphere to the entire building is...

Sigh. We’ve been here twice and both times on the weekend. We love to support the local businesses. Let’s start with the good. The venue is obviously stunning. The prices are pretty reasonable. $3.50 for a joe toast is affordable compared to today’s prices. However, during both visits the service wasn’t great. The staff kept messing up the order, forgetting, as if they didn’t know the menu. Took three tries to get the order right while no one else was waiting to order behind us. The avocado toast was kind of sad. I’d rather pay more for something better. I think with some tweaks this place would be a 5/5. Will be returning in the future to see if it changes, hoping it does.

We came as a large group, and they patiently took all our orders in and served them to us promptly. Courteous, friendly staff; we were well accommodated, and the interior is quite nice as well - modern, stylish, and good use of space. It doesn’t feel cramped. There is a nice lounge on the upper level. The food isn’t cheap though. This isn’t a place you go to hoping for extra-large portions of food for low prices (roughly $6 for a sausage & egg on an English muffin and $8 for an avocado toast). But I will say that the food is fairly good. Overall, I do approve of this location.
