i have always had good food there the mac and cheese is out of this world the only thing i was disappointed the other day i ordered 1 mac and cheese with bacon and 2 steak sandwiches i picked the order up brought it home they put some kind of paper under the mac and cheese and the paper broke up and it was mix in with the mac and cheese and there was barely any cheese in the mac and cheese it wasn't creaming like he usually makes its then i ordered 2 steak sandwiches which was horrible it didn't have the garlic flavor on the on the bun the bun wasn't toasted like he usally does so i called them i don't complain about food but this was really bad the waitress that answer the phone made up excuses why it was the way it was they never offered a refund or never said next time you come in i will make a meal for you and i order christmas dinner the last few years from them and i got a friend now addicted to verns i email dives diners and drive thoughs and you gotta eat here other then that i never had bad food it was always really good food and if they were that busy i would of waited for my order till they slowed down so i am...

What a great restaurant in Kingsville, Ontario. We ordered two personal size pizzas That were excellent. Vernon is usually around. So there's never a problem if you have an issue with anything. Staff is friendly and courteous. It seems to be like a spot where the boys come to have a few pops after the day or for lunch. Seems like a very social place with a lot of regulars. As with any restaurant bar, there's always a special and a daily lunch menu special. I've known brand for many years back in the day when he was a singer. Used to work on Pelee Island at the Westview. Always a gracious host. And great bartender. Seems to be an awesome boss and a great proprietor. Pretty frustrated tonight. We aren’t weekly customers but we will go in spurts of ordering often. Tonight is the second time we’ve had an issue and I’ve called with zero offers to correct. The first was simple. They didn’t make the Johnny Bread the way we ordered it. I called and they simply apologized but did NOT offer to correct it. TONIGHT, there is something very VERY wrong with the croutons in the Caesar salad. It has made the salad taste like it is stale or even like something has spoiled.
