While I was ordering my food I noticed the employee handling all the food in the kitchen was not wearing any gloves and grabbing buns etc barehand. I politely asked the cashier for when that specific employee handles my food that he please wear gloves. The girl cashier said she would tell him but I continued watching and she not once said a thing to the employee handling all the food barehand about my request. Once my food was ready to be served I once again mentioned to the cashier that I watched the employee again handle my food with barehands and she went on to tell me that they cannot wear gloves when handling the food. I was left in disgust and severe confusion about what I had just heard from the cashier through the sheer stupidity that they cannot wear gloves when handling peoples food. I also watched the kitchen employee periodically rinse his hands with water for a second without using soap and then go straight back to handing more food barehanded. This is beyond disgusting and even more shameful that these employees purposely ignored my request to put gloves on when handling my food as that is what you do in any fast food business anywhere, especially when a paying customer asks specifically for a simple request such as that. I will never order for this Harvey’s again and highly recommend no one ever go here again.
I hope something can be said or changed to do with the employees working at this specific date and time when this occurred. Roughly 9-9:15 pm August 6th Wednesday night, both a man and a woman of brown descent.

Read moreVery poor customer service experience. I work a Kieswetter Mazda and have been visiting this location for the better part of 2 years. Today I made my same usual order ( buffalo chicken poutine) and had asked them to add just a little chopped onion on top. When I finally made it to the drive through window my server (with the hello kitty tattoo on right forearm) Didn't have a clue what I had ordered, so I had to wait. Then when I asked again for the onions the response I received was " that's not something we do". Really!!!! If I had ordered literally anything else off your menu that would be something you would do...! How is this different??? The server even agreed with my answer... But...after waiting 30 minutes in the drive thru they were still unable to complete my request.. she just slammed the drive thru window closed and walked away. Very disappointed. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Not very customer centric.
Edit: August 14,2020 Spoke with service manager today and got an apology for my previous experience, not needed but appreciated. Absolutely no issue's with adding toppings to my orders going forward. Thank you for taking the time to...
Read moreThis location has been going downhill for a while but last night's experience will guarantee that i will not be returning. First, not only did I have to tell the guy at the till how much change I got back, he didn't know what a nickel was nor what it was worth. I ordered a poutine and a drink. The person I was with, ordered an angus burger and onion rings, with a drink. That meal was ready at least 5 min before my poutine which was started three times and given to other orders. My receipt was taken off a tray and just left on the counter; was looked at by three different people; crumpled up; turned upside down and placed to the side till someone finally gave me my order. The "fun" did not stop there. It tasted burnt. I ended up throwing half of it away because of the horrid taste. The person who was with me has an iron stomach and can eat anything but he couldn't eat it either. The only reason for the one star is that for a change, the tables were clean. From a diabetic stand point, there was only one cold drink option - diet pepsi. Even McDonald's offers more than one...
