[New owners - do not expect the same quality and service as the last 15 years]

Unfortunately had the most terrible experience after ordering from Big General Pizza for over 15 years.

Completely new ownership and management, supposedly due to the previous family and owner being sick which I doubt. Probably just new owners trying to hide the fact.

Ordered 2 medium pizzas, 2 points of honey garlic wings.

Received two tiny pizzas as you can see compared to my hand, as well as no sauce for the wings.

However when calling about how we received the wrong size pizzas, we were dismissively told that these were medium pizzas and that “they just shrink in the oven” lol.

In addition to being completely unresponsive the first call and having it ended, they repeated the same thing after calling a second time offering no understanding, or care at all as to what they give their customers.

To top it off, after trying to ask for a credit or refund after paying $40 plus a $10 tip for 2 Minipizzas and wings and 2 pops, a second lady on the phone said she could “give me a discount or something” and hung up the phone without asking anything further, naturally.

Just a terrible disappointment that new ownership has taken over a very fond spot, that provided terrible pizza and even...

I recently tried Kairali Food Court and really liked the experience. I ordered their Kalyana Biriyani combo( chicken fry, biriani, achar, salad, pappadam & gulab jamun), fish curry meals, egg puffs, and chicken puffs — all were good and came in good quantity. The taste was good.

It’s mainly a take-out place, but they do have three small tables with chairs where you can sit and enjoy snacks. They also serve tea, though only with regular milk. Since I’m lactose intolerant, I couldn’t try the milk tea.

They also sell pickled gooseberry and mango, which were nice additions. The staffs are very friendly and polite — I don’t know the name of one person who was particularly good, but they are very helpful and attentive.

Prices are quite reasonable compared to other nearby stores. I think they also offer catering and tiffin services. Just note that there might be a 10–15 minute wait since they prepare food fresh every day.

What a terrible experience we had yesterday evening. After faithfully ordering from Big General over the last two years, we will not be ordering again. After receiving confirmation that our online order had been placed, we phoned an hour later to find that the online service wasn't working. How does a confirmation produce if the service isn't working? We placed our order again over the phone and waited another hour. When we called back to ask where our food was, we were advised the driver just left. After 30 minutes our cold pizzas arrived and one of them was the wrong pizza! We didn't even bother to call back and complain. I don't know what happened, seems like an ownership change or something. Needless to say, we are done with Big General.
