We recently celebrated my boyfriend's birthday at Moose Winooski's, and I must say, it was a vegan paradise! With our entire party being vegan, we were thrilled to discover that Moose Winooski's offered a dedicated plant-based menu. From start to finish, our dining experience was exceptional. To kick off the festivities, we decided to indulge in their plant-based wings and Buffalo chicken burger. These delectable dishes truly exceeded our expectations. The wings were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, while the Buffalo chicken burger was a tantalizing blend of savory and spicy. Moose Winooski's demonstrated their culinary prowess by crafting these plant-based alternatives that were so satisfying and delicious, even the most devoted meat-lover would have been impressed. As the meal drew to a close, we couldn't resist trying the cinnamon rolls for dessert. Oh, what a treat! The warm, fluffy rolls with their sweet and fragrant cinnamon filling were a delightful ending to our birthday celebration. The plant-based twist on this classic dessert was executed flawlessly, leaving us with smiles on our faces and contentment in our hearts. Aside from the incredible food, the atmosphere at Moose Winooski's was lively and welcoming. The staff members were friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the vegan options available. It's always a pleasure to dine at a restaurant where the staff understands and respects the dietary choices of their customers. We left Moose Winooski's feeling not only satisfied but also grateful for the memorable vegan dining experience they provided. Their plant-based menu truly caters to those seeking delicious alternatives, and we highly recommend it to both vegans and non-vegans alike. If you're looking for a restaurant that goes above and beyond to accommodate vegans, Moose Winooski's is the place to be. Whether it's a special occasion or a casual night out, you won't be disappointed by their scrumptious plant-based offerings. We can't wait to return and explore more of their mouthwatering vegan delights!

Consistently Good! Great spot to watch a game, enjoy some pub grub, have a birthday party or just simply sit on a patio and enjoy a couple of drinks. We come to the Moose 🫎 regularly and the food and service are always good! The staff is very friendly and helpful whether they are busy because of game day or a regular day during the week. The bar area has lots of tables and bar seating. It is first come first serve. There is a large dining room where you can book a reservation. Also a large patio with fire tables for those cooler days. Lots of TVs through the bar making it easy to watch a game from any seat. Each wall has at least 4-6 TVs. Lol. No fighting who sists were. Good selection of beers and drinks. The food is delicious and consistently good 👍. My favorite are their chicken wings. Mmmmmmm good! I do have them once every time I get a chance. Other favorites are the Spinach dip, lettuce wraps, meatloaf, mushroom caps, burgers, bruschetta bread and Caesar salad 🥗. The nachos are large and delicious, and if you like onion soup 🍲 you'll enjoy it here. Weather a special occasion or just a lunch or dinner, you will be happy you came. Plenty of parking in the parking lot. Easy access from Hwy 401. Enjoy!

I ordered take-out from Moose Winooski's and will focus most of my review on the food alone. I spent all of 5 mins inside while waiting for my order and will say that the inside of the restaurant is quite cute with the open fireplace, which is the reason I gave this restaurant an additional star (3-Stars for atmosphere). The food was an epic fail - I managed to take a couple photos. I ordered a poutine, 2 lbs of wings and the cabin burger. Just look at the image of the poutine. It cannot even be classified as a poutine. They put about 5 cheese curds TOTAL in the package with a tiny cup of side gravy and called it a poutine. JUST SKIP ordering this all together. The wings were a total disappointment and were more bone than meat. There is nothing more disappointing when you order wings and you look forward to that delish supple chicken wing and there is relatively NO meat on the bone whatsoever. The burger....I could take it or leave it. It was bland and dry. It is really disappointing when restaurants do this because 99% of the time you do not realize how disappointing the food (or the lack of portions) there are until you are already home, unpacking the order to sit down and eat. I was so beyond irritated and upset with this order. I could have made it all better myself at home.....But that defeats the purpose of the entire reason you order out.

Our service was indifferent this evening. We had persuaded a visitor from Europe to try MW with us because the atmosphere, service and food quality was outstanding. Instead we experienced mediocre service and food that we might find at any roadhouse in the area. Out sever pretty much ignored us after the first drink, which we had to initiate. We had to ask another server to take our order. She explained that our server was busy. That made us feel so special. She never once aproached to ask if we needed more to drink. The food was good, but having eaten the same dish in pipers arms down the road 2 days earlier, the portions were a little smaller for a similar price and Pipers service was outstanding. The atmosphere was better here but the service really let it down. We punished the server with a 10% tip but I wish we didnt have to do that. We appologised to our visitor for our bad choice. It will be a long time before we are back. We might be your 20th customer tonight MW. But you were our first choice and you failed badly. Shame on you. No doubt this review will be met by some well sounding canned response from the owner about contacting them to share my views, but the truth is that i have been eating here for over 20 years and the service has gone downhill. Wake up and smell the coffee guys. Your competitors are eating your lunch

I haven't been there in years. It was nice to be back and sit on the patio for a night out. I ordered the lettuce wraps and was hugely disappointed. It was tasty, but I didn't like the 'do it yourself' part of it with the lettuce pile on the side (not captured in pic). When I tried to wrap it, it all fell apart. I cut a couple of pieces onto the meal. The rest was thrown out. But the MOST disappointing part of it was the chicken portion. There were 2 tiny half bite size pieces of chicken. I did NOT order the vegan option. I am on a protein and veggie based diet. When I mentioned it to the server, he apologized and said he would bring out more chicken, which I was happy about. Then, after he spoke with the manager, he came back and advised it was cost an extra 3.99. I don't think so, to pay extra for something that should have been there in the first place. For thar price, I expect a chicken breast or even half of one would have been more reasonable. They took one chicken breast and likely spread it amongst 20 meals, ridiculous. Plus, the manager didn't even come out to address the issue. He spoke to the server a few feet away from the table. Not the best resolution or handling of the complaint. It was a disappointing part of the night, for sure. I won't order that again.

Upon arrival, we were greeted in a friendly manner. There wasn't as much seating as one would expect for waiting guests, but despite it being the day after Valentine's day, we were seated in under 45 minutes(party of 5). We quickly had a server, who was polite and friendly. We started with the spinach/artichoke dip with pita and corn chips. The appetizer came fast and was good quality. I didn't find it greasy or oily, and we were provided with more chips when we ran out. Soon after, the waiter was back at our table without delay and we were able to order. The entrees took a bit longer, but considering it was a busy day, they came out in good time(20 mins). I ordered the Market Burger, which came with caramelized onions, white cheddar, a three peppercorn aioli, arugula and sliced tomato. I'm not a professional food critic, and won't pretend to be one. All I'll say is that it was very good. I could taste all the flavours, the burger wasn't greasy, and it was filling without being too heavy. It came with fries, which were also good, and managed to be crispy without simultaneously tasting like you're eating a salty tree branch. I would definitely go back, but likely on a less busy day.
