Pita Pit — Restaurant in Kitchener

I’m not one to leave reviews about a restaurant but this one is the exception, service was awful but everyone has bad days and I was willing to overlook that, until they mixed up my pita and the gentleman’s in front of me. I had brisket and he had steak, they accidentally put the brisket on his pita and realized they made a mistake, asked if it was okay to scoop it off, to which he said yes. so they scooped the meat off of his pita and onto mine with zero consideration of my opinion, not only was that poor practice but a quarter of the meat I had paid for was still on his pita. They never even thought of putting fresh meat on mine. Extremely poor practice and lazy aside from the obvious neglect of potential food allergies. Wouldn’t recommend. I will not be back to...

I was in the store this past Saturday and was the only customer in the store. The staff made no attempt to acknowledge me with even a smile or glance. I first used the washroom and then came to the cash register were I was completely ignored. The 2 ladies were cooking orders I guess for call ins and I politely said “hello” to let them know I was waiting. Still they ignored me and said nothing. I finally got frustrated and left. The older lady could not have cared less and said nothing as I left the store. Had they have even said “we will be right with you” or even “hello”, I would have waited. Stopped by the Pita Pit at Sportsworld in Kitchener and was genuinely impressed. The staff were super friendly, and the store was spotless — easily one of the cleanest Pita Pit locations I’ve visited.

What really stood out was the topping station. It was the best-stocked and most organized I’ve ever seen at any Pita Pit. While I was there, I noticed staff actively cleaning, reshaping, and topping up ingredients — a level of care and attention that’s rare and very appreciated.
