Quatro Bistro — Restaurant in La Prairie

Very good spot for chicken. I went on a Sunday at 2:00 PM and aside from two couples already eating, it wasn’t busy. The smell inside was just amazing. The server took the time to explain the other menu items, and helped me choose my meal. She gave me her favourites, alongside customer favourites as well. So I ordered half a chicken with salad and fries. Friendly staff, with a Caribbean/island vibe. I took my food to go, but looked very cosy and modern inside. The chef told me the chicken wasn’t ready yet, and it would be so - in about 15 minutes. Upon returning from putting gas in my car, the chicken was almost ready. The chef was very friendly and professional, he checked the chicken on the rotisserie with a thermometer right in front of me. That extra touch matters and is frankly important.

When I got home and unwrapped the box, the smell of the chicken hit me. They had boxed up two small salads and threw in three savoury sauces. Every one of them went great with the chicken. The chicken itself was hands down the best chicken I’ve had. The spices and aroma were enough to make you salivate. It is a bit on the pricey side, but well worth the money (and small wait). Would recommend to anyone on the south shore or on the island. Drove 24 minutes to get me...

Delicious food and the best sauces! Excellent customer service too by Maya! Every time we come we have the best service with her and the food is just 10/10. One of our favourite places to go for lunch and dinner!

Edited review: I have come here multiple times before and the food has always been excellent. This time however the dessert was terrible. They advertise on their Instagram (photo attached) this large chunky brownie with dulce de leche splattered all over (which I have ordered in the past and it was good). This advertisement on Instagram is very deceiving and nothing like the brownie I ordered this time. The brownie I ordered today was less than half the size of the one in the photo and a thin sheet. It had very little dulce de leche even though we paid extra for that and the ice cream. It didn’t even have a chocolatey flavor or a molten interior the way it used to be. I don’t know why they modified their menu but the desserts they have added to their new menu are not as good and while I do recommend the food here, I will no longer order the desserts because they are very cheap with the quantity of what they give and the quality and flavor just aren’t there anymore...

Some of the best chicken that we’ve had in a while! The rotisserie chicken here is well cooked inside out, the skin is crispy and tasty and yet the chicken is still juicy inside and we love it.

We ordered the Empanadas, the Yuca-Manioc for starters and the family chicken meal.

This gem of a place does the chicken Peruvian style (not Peri-peri) and the seating area is not too big, not too small instead it’s just right, I’d say. There is a little wait sometimes but the staff more than make up for it by, wait for it, wait for it... Smiling! This is something that many servers forget to do. Two ladies and one gentleman; all very pleasant to deal with.

The sauces are nice but a little on the mayo-ish side - please do try the spicy sauce.

This was literally a finger lickin’ good experience. I encourage you to try it...
