A&W Canada — Restaurant in Lachute

Is anyone really interested in reading a review for a fast food restaurant? I mean A & W makes a variety of good burgers that are unique from McDonald's or Burger King but the experience is pretty much the same. I happen to like their Beyond Meat Burger because I am a vegan. That being said, you do not really have much choice as to how the burger is prepared. you are not encouraged to ask for what specifically you'd like to have on it. And the over-the-counter experience varies little from branch to branch. Sometimes the service seems good and friendly and other times it seems to take forever to get what you've ordered. And ... It really isn't any cheaper than some restaurants where you sit down and are served. Much depends on your mood. I don't think that the veggie burger at Harveys is better, but at least you can get a good choice of toppings. If you like root beer it is a treat to go to A & W. They keep their big mugs in a cooler so that the drink is always...

This place is a disaster. This was my second time because I always leave the benefit of the doubt but man oh man, same experience this time around. I always order on my app so when I get there the order is ready. I get there I say the name of the order, that I ordered on my app and she says ok. Then wait 10 minutes and ask again where is my order ? She then again say wait, i dont know? Like really. I have been waiting 40 minutes for my food. If I only knew I would never have paid prior so I could leave. Now they won't refund me and I'm still waiting. UNREAL. worst service I have ever had at an A&W. It's a shame....

Newly opened last summer. Went to the drive through twice. Customer service is lacking, I was met with quick short sentences. There were no lines, it was in the afternoon. It's picky to whine about it, but it makes you realise how nice it is to be greeted well. Prices are way too high. 14$ for a burger, fries and Root beer.
