Lets see where to start. I will make a longer review than my usual.

Stay length - 15 Nights Cost - $2,560 CAD (Approx) Room - King Room with Shower

I arrived 1 day after check in due to a cancellation flight from another country. I called the front desk to take payment so the room is mine and not cancelled due to my delay. This was done quickly and staff was very pleasent to deal with.

Upon arrival room was very clean (new hotel), spacious and has all the amenities. Microwave, Fridge (Very cold), Hangers, Coffee Machine with Pods, Bathroom had all the towels and shampoo/soap bar etc.

Was notified that room bedding etc was changed once every 3 days which is fine, a lot of hotels have similar practise now.

I was in my room for around 4 days before I started noticing mold build up around the toilet water rim (picture attached). After 2 more days it was still there. In the mean time the trash in the room got taken out twice and since I was inside the room I requested new towels etc.

On Day 6 I left to travel to Quebec City for 2 Nights and before I left I informed front desk to have my room cleaned, bedding changed etc. Upon arrival back on Day 9 nothing was done. I had to request front desk about this. They asked if I need the room right now but I said I will go out for a couple of hours.

Once back the room was fully done. This means I only had bedding changed on the 9th day. Mold was still around the water rim on the toilet. This was sorted on the 12th day when I was almost about to complain. Guess the cleaner noticed it finally.

Beyond this, Every time I had breakfast, there was either no wholemeal bread, pancake machine not working properly or no plates. Had to find staff each time. Towards the last few days I left the breakfast entirely and went out to eat.

Overall. Decent stay, room is still rather clean being new etc. Staff I encounted were helpful and when asked for bits and pieces I got them instantly.

Washing machine/Dryer room was very helpful with a very good price. $2.50 per wash and $2.50 per dry. Washing took 35 Mins. Drying took 40 mins and clothes were fully dry. No damaged roughg washes so that is good. Can purchase washing powder for $2 at the front desk. This has been a major plus especially staying for 15 Nights.

A little more care for the bathroom and organisation for cleaning/changing bedding for room will make it all the more perfect.

A small minor detail. Not sure if it only happened to my rooms fridge but it was so cold all the cans I purchased froze and some of them burst all over inside. I cleaned it all out for them but could not find a temperature gauge to turn it down a bit. There was also a squeaky sound coming from fridge so a few nights I had to unplug the mains for it to sleep.

If I visited again I think I would still stay here, and I am sure a lot of the minor things will all be ironed out as they...

Disappointing Stay: A Letdown from Start to Finish My recent stay at this hotel was, unfortunately, a series of letdowns from the moment I arrived. Despite the hotel being a relatively new complex, it quickly became clear that the management was either overwhelmed or inattentive to the details that make a stay enjoyable.

First, the check-in process was frustratingly slow. We had to wait longer than expected to get our room key, and the delays continued throughout the stay. Communication was a problem too—responses to texts or questions about our room were sluggish, leaving us feeling neglected.

Once in the room, things didn’t improve. The room keys and exterior key constantly failed to work properly, making it a hassle every time we had to enter the room or the side entrance to the complex. The door itself was also problematic—it didn’t close properly, which raised concerns about security and comfort. For a place that touts itself as "modern," the lack of attention to basic functionality was surprising.

To make matters worse, there was visible damage on the walls, and a leaky shower that added to the list of issues. It’s one thing to expect a few imperfections in a new building, but when those imperfections are this obvious, it feels like poor maintenance.

The breakfast offerings were another major disappointment. The selection was lackluster, especially compared to similar accommodations I've stayed at. For the price and brand of this hotel, I expected much more.

Overall, the management seemed uninterested in improving the situation. There was no effort made to address my concerns or offer any compensation for the inconvenience. Based on my experience, I would not consider staying here again, nor would I recommend it to others...

This was hands down one of the most frustrating hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. The hotel was fully booked, yet it was clearly not equipped or managed to handle the capacity — and the staff made zero effort to fix any of it.

Let’s start with cleanliness: the lounge was still dirty at 11 PM, with crumbs and pieces of bread from the morning still on the floor. The area around the coffee machine looked like it hadn’t been cleaned all day. On top of that, the hot water machine wasn’t working, which created absolute chaos at breakfast.

With over 70 people needing hot water for coffee or tea, we were all forced to line up to use a single microwave. Everyone was taking around 65–70 seconds, which meant if you were at the back of the line, you’d be waiting nearly an hour — just to heat water! If you dared to step away to grab breakfast while waiting, you had to go to the back of the line again. Total disaster.

When I politely brought this up to a staff member, I was met with a rude, dismissive response: "I’m doing what I can — you need to manage it." Seriously? That’s not how you talk to guests.

Before we checked out, I spoke with the manager directly to raise concerns about the dirty conditions and the chaotic breakfast situation. His response? "You can talk to the higher manager — I can’t do anything about it." Absolutely shocking. No accountability, no apology, no solution.

What’s even more unbelievable is that this hotel somehow has a 4.7 rating. I honestly don’t understand how. Based on what I experienced, that rating is completely undeserved.

I have photo and video proof of everything I’ve mentioned here, and I’m seriously considering sharing it publicly. If you care...

For a brand new hotel, they missed the mark on several wheelchair accessible elements. There are only 2 wheelchair accessible parking spots, and they are NOT wide enough for a side ramp. All the curbed ends that frame the parking lot are VOID of any cutouts, so if I park in a end spot I could ideally deploy my ramp on to the grass and find a flush ares to roll off onto the ground. The emergency exist has several stairs and no ramp. The hotel is no new that it still smells of paint. (Not a bad thing) The bed is VERY firm and borderline uncomfortable. I'd book again. The location was ideal. I had an apartment in Laval (still 40 min drive) Breakfast: toast, bagels, pancakes (empty when I went), cold pre boiled eggs, yogurt tea, coffee, hot water, instant oatmeal....

Had a fantastic stay. The place is brand new...even had the new wood smell in it. The room was tidy, modern, clean and comfortable. Lots of closet space, fridge and microwave helped. The staff were super friendly and very efficient. Has a bright modern lobby with a light breakfast available in the morning. In-house snack shop and laundry are available. It is on the edge of a lovely farm community which offered many local stores and restaurants to choose from, and lots to look at in you do a "Sunday drive".
